"The cabin in the woods had been abandoned for years, but one night, the candle burned in the window"

Everyone knows the legend behind the witch who lived in the woods and no I don't mean the one who lived in a house made of sweets. I am talking about "Lilly the ghost" she is the legend parents would tell there kids right before bedtime, just one thought of this ghostly witch would give you nightmares of going into the woods alone.

Standing tall within the trees she would hunch over as she walked on by, dragging her arms beside her feet. With each step it was like the earth itself was trying to pull her back to hell, sinking deep within the leaves and mud that trailed behind her.

Eyes sunken deep, only showing the depth of her trance that lied upon you as a chosen one. Skin dark as night that would only cast a shadow beneath the sun, it was only the stench of rotting flesh that would bring you that much closer to death.

By the hands of Lilly one would only hope to be greeted by the Grim Reaper himself, as you fell into her clutches it would only be something so sweet. But even the Grim Reaper himself was terrified to go near the poor souls that roamed around her woods.

Even as the night would swallow the sun whole her victims would roam around in agony, feeling the death that fell upon them night after night.

Falling to your demise by the hands of Lilly only meant one of two things as you got added to the collection. First a quick death for some, as she gets bored not having new screams to ravish her day in and day out.

Second were the ones who had to suffer the longest before death, knowing there screams would echo the longest throughout the forest and that is what she craved the most.

For some it would be the feeling of pressure consuming them from the inside out, unable to move no longer. The stench of rotting flesh would get stronger as you felt her arms draping around you, almost like she was giving you a hug. With one swift motion the last thing you would feel is your bones snapping piece by piece, as your body fell beneath the earth to the sounds of your own screams.

You were only so unfortunate to suffer the prolonging death that she would thrust upon you. The feeling of her nails as they plunged in deep, plucking at your veins like a violin covered in the color of red. She sinks her teeth in deep around your throat, only to fill it with the earth beneath her. Breathing no longer and yet still alive you could feel every worm as it would crawl around inside, oozing its way out. Tears pouring out would only make her smile as her tongue traced along them like sandpaper ripping your skin to shreds.

With each passing minute you could feel a pool of darkness, pulling you in as she finished.

Wandering alone in the woods you awake to the thought that it was just a dream, a nightmare for which you escaped. It was only the stench of death that you come to realize it was nothing more than the end of you life, the torment of an eternity had just begun.

Lilly wasn't always the ghostly witch that we know today, for once she bore a child who she loved so dearly. As her child passed into the next she slowly went mad until one day she prayed to the gods of the damned, for children who would stay by her side forever. Not knowing what that would mean they answered her prayers and turned her into the ghostly which we know today. Sadly as the hunger set in she would be the children's demise for they could only stay with her as long as she took there life into hers. But being in that state of mind over time she started to enjoy it as she got greedy and cruel wanting more and more souls to add, it slowly turned her into the monster we all fear today.

But fate always has a way of finding a loophole if you know how to find it, for the gods of the damned are not ones to always make a deal with ought a way out.

With each passing night upon the cabin window a light would flicker from dusk till dawn, granting any soul who came near a pass into the next.

As she was consumed by the love of hatred for her children she knew that one would only have to except there fate for which was dealt, to move on into the next.

They say if you go into the woods even to this day the stench of rotting flesh would surround you, as she waits for her next child among the tress. With the earth pulling you into your fate of death as you felt the snapping of your bones and flesh melting off beneath you, only then would you be added to the collection of screams that Lilly so desired.
