Toxic Adult Child & Parent Relationships
John has been working on his graduate program for the past year to acquire his Master in Education. Both of John's parents are Educators and he has always admired Teaching. Along the way, John has met Sara. Sara is a small business owner of a local Antiquities Shop. Sara and John hit it off and soon they become engaged. John's parents have welcomed Sara with open arms. John finishes school and begins Teaching. For the first few months, life is lovely.

Through the Eyes of Meg
Meg sat at her desk. Her pen hovered over the parchment. Many times the pen moved toward the parchment and then away; her thoughts jammed with ideas, but not the ones she needed. Her new book had just been published. She had promised a series of three. A story that told tales of dragons, villains, and, of course, love. Instead of writing the sequel, she sat stumped. Worried she wouldn’t be able to deliver.

Morning light shone through the pale-yellow curtains, warming my soft sweater as I curled up on the sofa with morning coffee. The clouds had parted, giving the sun its time to melt the newly fallen snow. My thoughts wandered back to the previous night and my lips lifted in a smile.

The Giantess of Dasos
Deep within the forest of Dasos, there stood twin mountains. Within those mountains lived a giantess and her sister. Short strands of golden locks framed faces that held pale blue eyes. If not for their enormous size, these women would be bewitching, but their need for human flesh made them more beast than beauty.
