A Night of Horror and Tragedy in the Depths of the Atlantic
The Titanic, touted as the unsinkable ship, met its tragic demise on the fateful night of April 1912. It was a night that would be etched in history as one of the most catastrophic maritime disasters, leaving an indelible mark on the collective consciousness of humanity.

The Silence - Movie Review
As a huge horror fan, I feel foolish waiting this long to finally get round to watching this modern classic. The Silence is a truly intense survival horror movie with a premise similar to that of A Quiet Place, with the monsters being these flocks of blind demonic bats (with super hearing), from deep beneath the earth's surface, much like the blind xenomorph style Aliens from out of space we see in the Quiet Place. The Silence feels both modern yet vintage with it's story, giving us plenty of zombie apocalypse vibes, while having our protagonists escape a hundred hungry bats, much like the Alfred Hitchcock classic, The Birds. However, the film is not without it's problems, which I will discuss within this review.

Beyond Re-Animator: 20 Years Later
Since the 4th of April this year it has officially been 20 years since the release of Beyond Re-Animator, a film and a sequel many are unaware exists. All breeds of horror fan know of the original Re-Animator from 1985, some Bride Of Re-Animator its 1990 sequel, even fewer its 2003 follow-up.

Murder Mystery 2 Review: Unraveling the Mystery
The simulation sometimes surprises us with unexpected twists. Murder Mystery 2, the sequel to the forgettable 2019 comedy Murder Mystery starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston, initially seems like it won't be worth watching. In the previous film, Nick and Audrey Spitz (played by Sandler and Aniston) stumbled into the middle of a wealthy European family's murderous inheritance intrigue and tried to solve the case. Now they're broke and running their own unsuccessful private investigation firm. When they receive an invitation to the wedding of their wealthy friend Vikram (Adeel Akhtar), they eagerly accept.

The Abandoned Asylum
Deep in the heart of the countryside, there was an old asylum that had been abandoned for decades. The building was dilapidated, the windows boarded up, and the surrounding grounds overgrown with weeds and tangled vines. For years, the asylum had stood as a dark reminder of a bygone era, a time when mental illness was misunderstood and mistreated.

Beau is afraid movie review 2023
“Beau Is Afraid” is a dark comedy written and directed by Ari Aster, known for his trauma-filled horror dramas “Hereditary” and “Midsommar”. The film tells the story of Beau, played by Joaquin Phoenix, who is stuck in a hellish landscape in a downtown neighbourhood defined by violence and madness. Working with production designer Fiona Crombie, Aster captures this sumptuous chaos like Peter Greenaway did long dining tables in “The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover.” The world-building for Beau is like a furious overture of the towering anxieties we’ll see later in present-time and in flashback: a lack of personal space, the threat of being unable to please others, and the impossibility of rampant bad luck.
