A Killer Halloween Party
How fitting I would walk into the party on this song. Who plays this at a Halloween party? I wasn’t even supposed to be here...we were not supposed to be here. We had other plans, but he suddenly had a stomach virus after he ate something when we were going out to eat. This was a pre planned, pre purchased, non refundable, murder mystery dinner thing. But here I am with my heart pounding out my chest, either because I find him here and there may be a live action murder mystery at a party or if it’s this Michael Myers theme song with flashing strobe lights and smoke around me. Thank goodness the song is changing.

Halloween Pumpkin Smash!
My graveyard smash “mix-tape” as I prefer to call it with some nostalgia, will be the one to listen with your friends and family. Either by sharing it now or when it’s safe enough to get together. Here’s to hope we can all get on the same page so that that feeling we call safe will be here sooner. So, I’d like to think I chose mostly timeless songs mixed in with a bit of modern edge. My choices were based on whether or not I thought they had staying power. You cannot please everyone but I most certainly tried. In my head I had imagined people getting together, and in Manitoba where I am from, we have something called Socials. It’s like the familiar school dance but mostly with adults and you can consume alcohol beverages plus there’s food and silent auction prizes. They are a lot of fun! Halloween can take on a different meaning for everyone, but for me it feels like tradition and socials are a tradition here, a fun one at that.

Halloween Urban Legends: Fact or Fiction?. Top Story - October 2021.
Halloween abounds with stories that raise the hair on the back of our necks, but how true are they? Are they all fiction, or is there just enough fact mixed in, duping us into believing these farfetched tales?

What Graveyard Smash and Reality Tv Have in Common
Ivory (Jennifer Cheon Garcia) and Violet (Keeya King) have been sequacious the coordinates Jack (Nicole Muñoz) fixed in The History of Vampires, which addressed them to a situation in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The coordinates at the end of the day take them to an abstruse churchyard where there's a gravesite with a headstone devoted to the Liberty Bell. Violet allows the suggestion from her puerility with Jack (an American description below), and she intuits that Jack is afflictive to tell to her their next purpose: the catacombs of a famous denomination.

Diggin' Up Bones Halloween Party
Well if we are having a Halloween party, then I think these music choices are the best way to start and finish the day! Halloween is one of my favorite holidays and there is nothing better than getting ready for the day of the dead. I appreciate all the fun of a great party while intermittently answering the door to hand out free candy and admire all of the adorable faces in different make-up and costumes. I myself will dress for the occasion and I am almost always Dracula's Wife, because I was gifted with fangs of my own, and they are quite prominent so it just works out great, plus the kids and adults love it when they arrive at the door to a home that is totally into it, and I definitely am! I have to admit I also love to freak out the kiddies, it's just good clean fun...don't get me wrong, I am not trying to scare the bajesus out of them, just make em' jump a little, and hopefully we all get a little giggle out of it. I am usually playing music in the background and it keeps the mood going. So without further adieu, on to a few of my favorite Halloween tunes.

The Thing On The Ceiling
Way back in the olden days of 1995, I was a kid kicking around an old bungalow in the middle of nowhere with my little sister. It was a hot summer day- the kind with tall grass, little breeze and buzzing insects that feels like it might last forever.

Happy Halloween Playlist
A different take on Halloween When it comes to Halloween, everyone has different tastes. My playlist of eight spooktacular tunes is for those who enjoy the fun element of the evening and want to expound upon the 'What if"? rather than having everything laid out for them (literally and figuratively). During the late 1960s and early 1970s when I actively participated in Halloween and went trick or treating it was all about fun. We did not have today's technology so much was left to the imagination. My playlist is songs from the 60s,70s, and 80s. I will be telling a tale along the way that is somewhat related that encouraged me to choose the songs you will be listening to. If you enjoy the playlist and or my tale please leave a heart and a tip and I thank you in advance.
