Now or Never
Morgan and her family never settled down in one town. Ever since she was three, she moved from town to town, never staying in one place too long, longing for the day where she didn’t have to say goodbye, wishing her parents would stay put. She has always felt trapped within this endless cycle—waking up to the cardboard boxes, having to restart over and over again at a new school every year, hoping that one day she could break free from her parents, and it happened. Oakhill. That is where Morgan’s life changed forever. All because of Chloe. She is the one that broke this cycle for Morgan.

Under The Linoleum Floor
It’s raining outside. I've always found it peaceful when it rains. When I was really little, Mama told me that when it rains it means the angels are crying. I don't understand how something so beautiful can be born from sadness. Mama use to tell me lots of things, but she doesn't anymore. She use to smile and laugh too.

The Jump
Jimmy sat at the edge of the landing, six stories up, looking down. How will it feel he asked himself, will I pass out before I hit the bottom? He had read somewhere that most suicide jumpers pass out before they hit thus feel little to no pain. Is this high enough? He also heard that time slowed down and your life would pass before you. Will the fall kill me, or just break my legs? Several minutes passed and Jimmy's thoughts floated in and out of his mind without sticking anywhere. His original plan was to climb to the top of the towns water tower and just jump off the side, plunging to his death. However the recent sullying of the tower by a graffiti artist who identified himself with the tag BOOG made the attention on the tower too great. The local cops would now drive by too frequently, shining their spotlights onto the tower. Jimmy couldn't risk that, what if they caught him before the jump, they'd blame him for the graffiti and that would be all he'd be known for.

Finally Found
The sky was grey as the wind whipped up the freshly fallen snow. The sidewalk felt like a tunnel with the icy snow drifts piled on either side of my usual route to and from work. I knew every crack and crevasse in the sidewalk, and all the faces of the people I saw on my daily trek but today was different. The snow was unexpected and came with a ferocity that the town had never witnessed before. My path that was usually flooded with familiar faces was now barren of any life.

Blood Addiction (Chapter 3)
Chapter 3 After we got to her house I placed her on the couch and was about to leave. It took all my strength not to give in to the urge to kiss her when I was carrying her to her place. It seems like her visions take a lot of energy out of her and she seems to have more visions around me, but why? In our society we have herd of half human half vampire children that have some of the vampire abilities due to the vampire blood. Most of them got the little abilities such as telepathy and nothing else. Jane wasn’t a half-breed though I would’ve been able to sense the vampire blood in her. So how the hell did she get gifted with such powers?

Heads
Hello, my name is Reijo Almila. I am 16 years old and this is my story. I just moved to this town in Lucherberg, Germany, from Velkua, Finland. All of my life I have been moving around. In all of the schools, I have never fit in with the other kids. Always being bullied and teased. This time to me, this school freaks me out. Everyone at this school is so weird. Today is my first day, and I am having the weirdest time. For lunch, we were served green mashed potatoes with blue gravy and black tomatoes. EW! The teachers at this school are all strange. They don’t answer our questions when we ask them; they don’t speak to us. I wonder if they ever talk or even breathe. Well, I am in the fifth period right now and bored to death. The class is supposed to be English, but so far we have not even learned anything or done anything. We just spent our time staring at the walls.

Playing Card
No one would have thought a Sunday closing shift would have been so bare. The book store looked emptier than it usually did; even when its usual three customers came it at least looked somewhat alive. At least, that's what Slyv thought. Sylv had owned that book store for more than thirty years with seeing it rise in popularity, and fall faster than he could blink. Nowadays he would be lucky to see more than his usuals show up, but in those rare cases it was tourist wanting to know a way out of town or lone wanderers looking for a way to the closest coffee shop to enjoy something warm in such a cold city.
