The Darkest Parts
Journey entry #815 The ache. You know, that feeling in your heart . . . or somewhere inside of you, that aches? Right when you thought that you couldn’t feel? That you would never feel? I have that dreadful ache. People define it as love, but it just feels like torture to me.

Immortal || Chapter 21
Johnathan’s POV I knew Natalie was feeling a bit uneasy with my uncle around. He was always a flirt, but for some reason he made even my skin crawl. Especially the way he looked at Natalie's mother. I thought I would confront my uncle of the matter, so I found him minding his own business in the study.

The Darkest Parts - Chapter 2
Go check out chapter 1 if you haven't already! Twenty-four days until Death Anniversary: The month of December never felt so dangerous in my life. It was impossible to have good spirits when there was a literal spirit seeming to be stalking me. I thought I saw him again when I was getting out of the shower. A dark figure loomed behind the curtain as I squinted into the mirror. Granted, it was a bit steamy in the bathroom, but the model seemed darker than steam; almost, heavy-fog like.

Nightmare In A Bottle
Something bad happened to me. I know it did. Doctor Stein, my therapist, thought so as well. Which was why I had asked him to meet me here tonight. The more I thought about my past, the more I could feel the ominous feeling envelope my bones as I stared out into the murky water and took a seat on top of the highest boulder.

Tempting the Devil
It was a clear beautiful morning in Mexico and two brothers were eagerly awaiting the end to another long week. All day they kept thinking of what fun they would have after their hard days work was done and the best idea they had was to go and have a beer at the local cantina. Of course, this is what they did every Friday night and it seemed to fit the bill but this night was one that would remain burned in their memory forever.

Everything
It's a cold rainy night in the middle of nowhere on November 25th. There's a house next to a gravel road surrounded by the cornfields of Iowa. Inside, a man named Tucker is sitting at his dining room table drinking his fifth beer. He usually isn't this bad of a drinker, but it has been two days since he found his wife, Leah, hung in their closet, she committed suicide. Tucker, even though he mourned her death, had a good understanding of why she did it. Within this past month, Leah has lost both of her children, Jacob and Nancy. They were all grown up and already starting families of their own. Those children were also Tuckers step kids, but he loved them like his own. It was just unusual for them to pass away in just a short amount of time.

A Night in Room 2
The Bed & Breakfast was cute in a quaint kind of way. From the outside, I spotted a single candle alight in several of the windows. ‘What an interesting touch,’ I thought to myself. Inside, the furniture was old and dated, but well looked after, and the wallpaper in the reception had the kind of busy floral pattern that made my head hurt. This wasn’t the kind of place I’d usually go for, but it was close to the conference centre and only a few minutes away from the train station. It was also cheap and had received more than a few positive reviews online. It would do, and it was only for the one night.

Creature
You might feel the hairs on your neck and arm stand on end when you walk through a dark hallway or if you turn off the lights downstairs and you have to walk up the dark stairway. You skip stairs when the lights are off and in the back of your mind you see images of creatures that aren't human follow you up the steps.

Immortal || Chapter 19
Johnathan’s POV I took Natalie home as soon as I fought those vampires off. They were after her to get to me. I had a weird feeling that those same men in the alley were linked to whatever Natalie saw at school. But I needed to dig deeper into the matter to find out what was going on. I believe Jacob has something to do with this.
