Free Me. Fear Me. Hear Me.
A candle sits in the window, softly flickering as shadows pass by on the outside. She stares out curiously. She is unsure of what to do in the moment. She looks around the dimly lit room to find a door on the opposite wall of the candle. She cautiously moves towards the door. Before she can open the door, she finds herself in an empty space.

The Night In My Brain
I spend a casual day at work and spend time with my friends enjoying and having fun after work. As soon as I got home I changed my clothes and laid on my bed and it did not take me long to fall asleep. That’s when weird things started to happen in my dream world. I happen to find myself in a big room with shelves filled with a lot of folders. While scanning the room with my eyes standing at the door, I was anticipating where I am and why I am here. After I calmed myself, I made my first step and realized that the room is divided by three shelves separated by a window with a candle in it.

Immortal || Chapter 23
Farther into the morning it was quiet and peaceful. Natalie was in the back garden reading a book. My uncle, I haven't seen him since breakfast, Mrs. Havens was in her room last time I checked, and myself... I was walking around the house thinking of a way to get rid of Jacob once and for all. He was becoming a pain. And were those servers his henchmen? Did my uncle have anything to do with all that was happening? Did he really let Jacob go? Perhaps I should confront Uncle about my thoughts on the whole matter.

No One Ever Visits...
The house is a total wreck - not that I’m expecting company. No one ever visits, and if they do it’s not for long. There isn’t even any electricity, the only source of light being the candle I burn on the window sill every evening. Every surface is covered with dust, and every corner filled with cobwebs.

Dirt and Gasoline
I open my eyes, gasping, suddenly aware of how cold a night it was. I’m in a shallow dirt hole. The night looms heavy on my shoulders as I sit upright. I…can’t remember anything. I don’t know who or where I am. Looking around, I see I am just on the edge of some wooded area. There are scuff marks all around me, as if something was dragged here, and footprints leading away and into the woods suggest someone took off in a hurry. I cough, spitting out dirt that had caked in my mouth. Gross.

Run
Run. It was the first thought in her head in the morning, and the last thought on her mind before she allowed herself to fall into a restless, fitful sleep every night. Had life ever been different? If it ever was, Sheila didn’t remember it. Even more than the taste of ice cream, she’d forgotten what it had felt like to ever be safe.

The candle in the window
So everyone in long island knows about Mary's grave and her house. If you pass by the house at night however many people are in the care that's how many candles are in the window. It's wild and I've experienced it. One day I decided to poke around the house to see if I sensed anything or could see anything there. I had planned to get there early in the day but unfortunately there were things that stopped me from getting there when I wanted. I finally got there a little bit before the sun would even start to set.

The Wicked Wheat
Summer ended too quickly. The night air was seasonably cool but pleasantly comfortable. As the full moon sat gloriously in the sky, sounds of crickets filled the town of Ashton. It had personality as well as a reputation too. The town had been able to survive some good times and even the worst of times decades ago.
