Unwanted Party
Have you ever been invited to a party and went to a wrong address. Well I did and I ended up in the middle of a desert with this weird family because my car broke down. This all started a month ago I was in my apartment playing my game system on my day off. Then this weird kid with a butler outfit on and said I was invited to a special event only givin to people who qualified for it. I don’t know how I qualified for anything I’m a high school drop out working at a shop yard making 50k a year. But this was an opportunity to get out of the house for once so I decided to pack for a short trip. The address was encrypted and it had how to figure out what it means on the back of the letter. This party was supposed to be located in the valley of death. I know the location should be a warning but I am down for any party. As long as theirs beer and games, just skip out on the lectures and skits. But on my way their I manage to lose my GPS and got lost so I pulled off at this crumby motel. I tried to ask for directions and next thing I know I’m in this car with a family I don’t even know, because I just woke up. Yeah I might be kidnapped or just fell asleep but either way let’s see how this plays out. So far it looks like we’re going the same direction I’m supposed to be going and this weird old lady keeps staring at me licking her gums and lips. I’m trying to ignore her except it’s hard when it sound like wet ham slapping on a someone’s face to piss them off. Yeah this party better be worth it because I think I’d rather jump out right now. But then the driver said we’re almost at our destination but I don’t see anything but a whole bunch of scary dude holding bats with people laying down with blood on them. If this is the party I hope those are dolls filled with ketchup or fruit punch jello. I know I’m not filled with either of those, so if this is a party to get rid of steam on people, I’m gone. But now that we’re getting close I’ve decided I’m bailing on this party their ain’t anyway I’m getting involved with some gang problems. As soon as I step out of this door, a random group of people start chasing after me screaming like maniacs. I’ve decided to take the closest thing to me which had to be a skinny stick and swing it like a fly swatter against a wasp. All I managed to do was scrape them up. Now it’s time to run. I’ve found a car with no engine so I decided to take a tire. Now that I got a bowling tire and running pins it’s time to test my aim but I got no time. So I just threw all the tires at them after I lit them to flames. Hopefully this bought me time to get away from these people. As I continue to run further away. I found myself surrounded but steep cliffs on all directions in-front of me. The only way to be sure I’m same is to go down, their is a barn down their and I see a four wheeler. I decided to go down the cliff looking for a part I can slide down with the least risks. As I get to the bottom I hear people in the distance. As voices get louder I make my way to the four wheeler. Only to find their was no key in the starter. I run into the barn to look for the key. As I hear people coming my way I found the key under the steps in the barn. Before the door opens I jump in a hay pile. Waiting for them to go upstairs or back out so I can get to the four wheeler. Something or someone hit me, I try not to make a noise. Then someone yanks me out of the hay. Right as soon as I get out of the pile of hay. I spring myself towards the door trying to make it out alive. As soon as I hit the door I slammed it open. I dash toward the four wheeler turn it on and I hit the gas as hard as I can. This time to make sure I’m away I make a dust cloud by doing a donut in-front of the barn. I’m on my way home from this awful party. As soon as I arrive to my house theirs more invites but I’ve decided to leave them in the hall who ever wants the invites can have them. I’ll never trust a party invite from a sus looking person again.

Bragg
NOTE: This is a FICTIONAL interpretation of the tall tales we have heard for years explaining the baseball-sized light at the end of Bragg Road near Saratoga, Texas, which is one of the most haunted places in the state. For decades, people have seen a mysterious light dancing in the darkness across the road. There have been numerous explanations and theories of what it could be including a scientific reason which claims it's simply a gaseous light from the swamp emissions. Then, there are the more supernatural explanations including a railroad worker who was beheaded in a work accident and he is searching for his head; and the honeymooning couple who was staying at the Bragg Hotel, built at the end of the road. The wife was mysteriously murdered and it is her husband still searching for her killer to this day.

The Field
In 1861, Aleki reluctantly joined the Union Army by the wishes of Abraham Lincoln. He took a horse from Washington DC to Virginia. When Aleki arrived he disembarked his horse, and let it run free, while he walked the rest of the way to the battlefield. He came across a foggy field, and he squinted his eyes as figures moved through the fog and disembodied screams filled the air. From the left of him, he heard footsteps and he looked out the corner of his eye to see, a young confederate soldier, who had short brown hair and blood all over his uniform that was not his own. The two men stood in silence as another disembodied scream broke it. Aleki looked to the soldier and asked slowly, “Is the battle near here?” The soldier slowly shook his head, “No, the battle is 2 miles North from here.” Aleki looked at the field and then back at the soldier, “What was that scream we heard?” The soldier was silent for a moment and he spoke solemnly, “That was the screams of fathers’ who lost their sons on this battlefield, turned grave yard.” Aleki asked, “What do you mean by that?” The soldier continued, “I was in a battalion of 30 men, and we were looking for the enemy, b-but there was also a regiment of 30 boys that came through this field as well. I-It was foggy, and we saw movement and we opened fired, and the opposing regiment fired back. When the smoke cleared, I realized that it was friendly fire and I was the only one left standing. But when I went to survey the land...” Aleki took a deep breath, and placed the palm of his hand to the bridge, “You realized that the enemy wasn’t your enemy but the regiment of boys, some of them sons of your battalion.” The soldier screamed, “I KILLED MY SON, WE KILLED OUR SONS, AND WE SCREAMED TO THE HEAVENS TO TAKE IT BACK.” He calmed down and continued, “This war has destroyed my family, and I’m only in this war because of my father’s beliefs. We are fighting for a race of people that we stole, to continue to work for us, even though they shouldn’t have been stolen in the first place. Do not let this war destroy you or your family. I hope my son forgives me.” The soldier raised his musket that was covered in blood, “ I cannot undo what I’ve done. It is etched into my soul and burned into behind my eyelids” He slammed the butt of the rifle to the dirt, and smashed his head on the bayonet of it. He fell to his knees, body twitching, and fell to the left. Aleki stared at the soldier’s body and he bowed his head, “May you and your son find peace.” Aleki walked through the fog and a few yards later he stumbled, and when he looked down their was a small hand. The sun came out from behind it’s cloudy prison and burned through some of the fog and Aleki’s eyes widened as bodies of boys with faces twisted with pain and anguish littered the field. Aleki walked over the bodies, deeper into the fog but stopped to the sound of footsteps approaching slowly, and then they sped up. He saw a shimmer of light and smiled, “Bayonet Run.” When the enemy came closer, Aleki grabbed the the bayonet with his left hand, and turned it out to the left, and he grabbed a blade from his right hip, with his right hand and slit the attacker’s throat. The sun began to burn all the fog away, and Aleki walked closer to his attaclear, and he screamed, “NOOOOO! ELIJAH WHY ARE YOU HERE?” Elijah gargled on his blood, “F-F-FATHER.” Aleki stood up and screamed in utter pain and his screams became one of the disembodied screams of fathers’ who lost their sons on that field.

Ordinary Man
Jake was just an ordinary man. Nothing interesting ever happened to him, but that was all about to change. One morning while going for a run, just like he did every other morning, Jake got a strange feeling in the pit of his stomach. Something told him he needed to to go to the gas station at the corner of Freeman and Rallison. He tried to ignore the strange feeling but it only grew stronger. Finally, Jake changed his course and ended up going to the gas station, not sure of what he would find. As the gas station came into focus Jake noticed that something was off, he got a little closer and another strange feeling began brewing in his stomach only this time he saw a flash in his head. Fire, an explosion, people dying. Jake shook his head and looked back at the store in front of him. The smell of gas assaulted his nostrils, the gas pump was leaking. Jake’s eyes widened as he noticed a man casually walking by smoking a cigarette. The man probably had no idea that the gas pump was leaking when he threw his cigarette out. It flew right beside the leaking pump and instantly sparked a fire. Jake knee what was about to happen, he had to think fast. There was a woman with a baby who had just exited the store, Jake ran to her.
