fiction
Horror fiction that delivers on its promise to scare, startle, frighten and unsettle. These stories are fake, but the shivers down your spine won't be.
Journal Of An Immortal - Part 3
Tuesday – January 5, 2021 Moving forward, I need to always remind myself to never go anywhere on New Year’s Eve. I knew I should have remained home and celebrated alone. I did not think that I was going to run into someone from my past. No, I am not talking about Dr. Xavier Clarke. I am praying that I will never see him again. This was someone else.

Jasper loves his toys
My godson Jasper loves his toys. "Love" might not be a strong enough word. He obsesses over his toys. We all have one childhood keepsake that holds a special significance for us. My godson has a city, built painstakingly over a number of years. Cobbled together from Legos, tinker toys, and what looks like it could be a small Barbie dream house, it represents about 4 city blocks, and it would be impressive if it didn't absolutely terrify me.

The Final Meal
I felt a cold wind spiralling around my body whilst also being attacked by rapid drops of the stabbing rain as they pierce my soft skin. Synchronised beads of condensation began to trickle down from the house windows. It’s dark, and as I walk through the cold, the shape of dark elm trees, silhouetted in the backdrop create a haunting atmosphere. Their mighty shadows obscure the cobbled pathway leading to the house of Vince’s parents. The house is bleak, with rotting wooden planks peeking out in each direction. Leading up the porch, there is an old wooden staircase left with pale, frayed carpet laid down on the steps which have lost most of its colour due to the outside exposure in the sun and rain for so long.

Meeting The Witch
NOTE: This is a section of a book I'm working on therefore some information may come across confusing. It was my eighth day of school when I met my teacher. I decided I would take the long way home, avoiding Cadence and her band of cheerleading bitches. I didn’t bother telling Saint Greg that I would be walking home again, I didn’t have the patience to hear his reassuring or pleading rants about how he is here for me and “we’re a family now”. Please… they weren’t even married yet and he felt obligated to look after me like a worried sick mother.

Phantom Island-"Origins"-31
Duncan paused his story while the waitress refilled their coffees. He looked at the lady in front of him. He couldn’t believe he had finally found her; and not a moment too soon. He could tell she was truly interested in his story and would likely be saddened when it came time for him to go.

Giants
So I've just woken up and my stomach is making gurgling noises. I touch it and tell it I will get to it soon. I get off my bed and go to the bathroom to let off some water and once it calms down to a drizzle I wipe, flush, and wash my hands. I make my way to the fridge hearing the thumps as I walk across the ground surface barefoot and into the kitchen I go. I open the fridge door and see eggs and immediately my mind goes to french toast. So scrambled eggs, french toast and what else? How about some fruits? I look again in the fridge and see fresh blueberries, strawberries, and some orange juice. This will be my morning meal then.

Eating my experience (4)
TOME 5 I woke in the dark, my pillow still sopping wet and stuck to my face to the sound of alex playing the banjo slowly, trying to perfect a song he apparently wrote while i was asleep. "how long was I asleep?" asked groggily causing alex to jump slightly and drop his banjo on his lap.

The Portal in the Closet
Alex had found an apartment. Finally. It was a challenge for sure and definitely not the first place she would have picked. Unfortunately, with her recent bout of homelessness and her poor credit, she figured beggars could not be choosers.
