Saved by Horror
I had horrible nightmares as a child. The kind that woke you dripping in sweat and unable to think about anything else. Even movies like Jurassic Park would send me into weeks of nightmares about dinosaurs eating my loved ones. I was a weird kid, but I didn't know that some of the weirdness I was dealing with in myself weren't just the pings and pangs of growing up, they were mental health monsters rearing their ugly heads.

Their Voices Will Be Heard
Recently, I went on a Jack The Ripper virtual tour on YouTube. Having been on two physical tours a few years ago, this virtual tour (of course, due to covid) is the best tour I have ‘been on.’ Sinead O’Leary made the whole tour come alive and very interesting. She ‘knew’ her subject. Now, I have touched on Jack The Ripper in my article ‘A Penny Dreadful’, and I am in no way a Ripperologist. In fact, my husband has read so many books on this subject, and we have even been to the Jack The Ripper museum in London, that he is the one who could ‘lecture’ on this. However, it has caught my interest, which is why I’ve dedicated this article to the five known women who were murdered by Jack The Ripper.

Come On Down!
Dear Mr. Carey, Look, I get it. I know you’re just the host–an actor, really– and that you probably don’t have anything to do with picking the prizes the contestants win. And, yes, it has occurred to me that you may not even believe in haunted cars. I didn’t used to. But things have been so out of control for me since I came home with her. I’ve tried everything I can think of, but it’s hard to think when you can’t sleep. You’re my last resort, Mr. Carey. Honestly, I have no idea if you can help.

The Kennedy Curse - Rosemary's Revenge
The Kennedy Curse. Most people have heard of it, some people know what it’s about, but few know the true extent of the tragedy this one single family has suffered. At first, it seemed like it could be just a few unfortunate events that all coincidentally happened to people of a certain last name, but it soon became clear that there was more to the Kennedy’s and their deaths than meets the eye.

George Romero
Zombies have been such significant popularity for years. People have seen The Walking Dead. But then zombie films in my mind started due to the sense of one man, George Romero. He directed and created a black and white zombie film known as "Dawn of the Dead." He made many films following for over forty years. Creating his well-known series as "Night of the Living Dead Series." Romero is such an exciting filmmaker. This article will go over his life, his films, and what kept him well known as the god of zombies.

Celebrity Interview: Colman Domingo Fear the Walking Dead
Colman Domingo has more than solidified his place in the world of Fear the Walking Dead. After joining the show in season 2, Domingo has become one of the stalwart characters of the show. Even as friends such as Kim Dickens and Garret Dillahunt have left the series, Colman Domingo has remained and welcomed new characters and expanded his character, Victor Strand in directions that he had never imagined. Now, with season 6 of Fear the Walking Dead underway, Colman is still bringing life to Victor in front of the camera while finding new life for himself behind the camera as a director.

Stephen King:
It's Stephen King! He doesn't need an intro. A household name since the early 80s, and a staple in the horror community. The creator of IT has brutally carved himself into the hearts and minds of people all over the world. From cosplayers, to cartoonists, there isn't an artist alive who hasn't paid homage to The King.

Sight Unseen
In some ways, Stephen King's stories are like looking through a keyhole, and having a cockroach crawl out onto your face. There is much more substance to these stories than a simple glimpse through a keyhole can reveal. I already reviewed Stephen King Goes to the Movies, an anthology of short stories, on Goodreads (lol gotta plug my brand), so I thought that I should do something a little more on this site. I chose to observe one of the King's favorite themes; the abject subverting the mundane into something much more than meets the eye. Across the collection of short stories, all characters, settings and even small props, are not what they seem. They are in fact, something more.

A Filmmaker's Biography: James Wan
As you may all know, James Wan is one of my personal favourite directors because of his contribution to the post-modern horror film using almost hitchcockian efforts. James Wan’s contribution to modern horror and post-modern horror are pretty unrivalled and his work on the “Conjuring” universe and “Insidious” series just go to show how much he is involved with the process even if he isn’t entirely responsible for the film or in the role of director.

10 Things You Didn't Know About Vincent Price
Vincent Price was one of the most successful horror actors of all time. Known for such titles as House of Wax, House of Usher, Edward Scissorhands, and The Masque of the Red Death, his career spanned decades, and remains the stuff of legend. His trademark mustache, "evil" laugh, and sonorous voice became a part of pop culture that remains well-known long after his death.
