Sara slowly opened her eyes. She found herself in a dark room lying on the floor. She changed her position and got up, using her hands for support. She stood to her feet and started to look around, trying to figure out where she was. Sara was completely taken aback when the realization hit her that she was in a large, old, dusty classroom, filled with old desks and chairs. She immediately recognized the place. It was her own school storeroom. ~ Sara was a young teenager, an extremely intelligent girl, living her normal life until the day she agreed to go to the restricted area of her school - an old washroom. There had been rumors that a girl committed suicide there and since then it had been labeled as the haunted area of the school. Many students had reported before that they heard screams and saw someone. The authorities declared it a restricted area after those incidents and no one was allowed to go near that place. Hence it was closed and not visited by anyone for years until the day when Sara made a bet with her friends. (The only brave girls who went there). The other girls stayed behind cheering her on as she entered the bathroom. It was a chilling place, but nothing too out of the ordinary for an abandoned location. It was just a bit creepier with broken doors, crumbling walls, and cobwebs hung in the corners. Knowing the fact that someone had died there even intensified the atmosphere and gave it a very spooky negative vibe. She felt as if someone was staring at her although no one was visibly present there. After some time, she went out of the bathroom, showing everyone the proof of her bravery. She didn’t understand the dimension of the mistake she had made. From that day onward, Sara faced problems with her sleep. She started having lucid dreams. But this time it was not a normal lucid dream. Things she experienced felt more real than a mere bad dream.

A Close Call
had just returned home from an extended vacation trip to Japan, where I had the pleasure of experiencing delectable cuisine, breathtaking scenery, and the company of remarkable individuals. Needless to say, I was feeling somewhat despondent upon my arrival back home. On my first day back, I retired straight to my bedroom and promptly fell asleep, lacking the energy to do anything else. It was likely for this reason that I failed to notice subtle indications that my home was not as empty as I had believed. Hours later, I awoke in the middle of the night to the sound of scuttling noises and creaking floorboards. Confused, I cautiously made my way into the hallway, which connected to both the living room and kitchen. As I groped the wall for balance in my fatigued state, I made the fatal mistake of stepping on one of the loudest boards in the hallway, alerting whoever or whatever was lurking in the shadows of the next room. I paused, as did the entity in the next room, before a whoosh of air was heard as they retreated into whatever crevice they had come out of. Taking a nervous gulp of air, I walked into the living room and turned on the nearby lamp, which dimly lit up the room. Looking around, I spotted not a soul, but rather some of my furniture was disturbed. What's more, a couple of my kitchen cabinets were slightly ajar. Bewildered, but with my guard up, I went over and closed them all before readjusting my furniture. By this point, I had relaxed and chalked up the odd noises and movements to my jet-lagged brain. I shrugged and decided to head back to bed. I wish the story ended there, but I was not so fortunate. Before entering the hallway to my room, I noticed that the large metal covering to the air vent above the couch was missing. Peering up at it, I muttered "what the..." before a crooked face filled with abject disdain for my existence popped into view. Startled, I fell to the ground and began crawling away as I heard the man begin screeching incoherently. He dropped down onto the couch, and I watched in horror as his joints cracked beneath his raggedy hoodie and heavily stained jeans. He stared at me silently before brandishing a knife out of his back pocket and pointing it towards me. "My house now. Mine, mine. You left it. It's mine!" he shouted with a slurred voice as he charged towards me. I hurriedly crawled towards my room and slammed the door behind me, locking it as he started jabbing his blade into the door, yelling at me to die. Shakily, I called the police and sobbed as I told them what was happening. Thankfully, I was informed that a patrol car was nearby my neighborhood and they would be at my house in minutes. I stayed on the phone and picked up a baseball bat just in case that deranged man broke down my door. A few horrendous minutes later, the police arrived, and after a quick but violent struggle, they managed to subdue the intruder. After locking him in the back seat of the patrol car, the cops investigated my house and found that the man had apparently been living there while I was gone. Not only that, but he had been staying at my house without me noticing for a few months. According to the police, they found paper stuffed under the couch that was filled with nothing but incoherent ramblings about how he planned to kill me one day when the time was right, with the dates next to each entry predating my trip to Japan by an uncomfortable amount of time. Frankly, I am happy to be alive and relieved that the situation was resolved so quickly. However, I now make sure to triple check the locks in my home after that little incident. I'm a former production leader at one of the main "organizations" in this country, this story occurred around 2016. Profession as a chief beginnings from 8am until 5.30pm and there is no over time (OT). On the off chance that there is work that has not been finished, it will be brought back home or went through the night in the workplace joined by the illumination of the light and the pioneer and night transport laborers. For your data, my employer has 2 movements, daytime 7am-4.30pm (normally some work OT until 7pm), night shift from 9pm until 6am tomorrow. So somewhere in the range of 7pm and 9pm there is typically no work done in the functioning floor creation.
