The Cat under the Bridge

The wind howled through the desolate streets, carrying with it an eerie chill that sent shivers down the spine of anyone brave enough to venture outside. The small town of Blackwood had always been a place cloaked in mystery, but none were as mysterious as the old stone bridge that spanned the river on the outskirts of town. It was said that the bridge held a secret, a secret that had been whispered about for generations. And so, it was no surprise that when the clock struck midnight, the bridge became a place of dread and curiosity.
