The Haunted Children's Hospital (Chapter 3)
Chapter 3 I jolted awake, for someone shook me. "Hey, kid. Is this your stop?" A gruff voice asked me. Looking out the window, I knew this wasn't my stop, but I shook my head yes anyway. The bus driver huffed. "Well, go ahead and get off." I grabbed my backpack and hurried off my school bus. As it left, I made a full 360 turn where I was standing.

Schroder Farm Part 1
It was a cold, dreary evening on a small plot of land near northern Scotland, a cattle field with a large, six stable barn, and a barn house east of it by the name of Schroder Farm. Three men were to work the night shift, and one of them happened to step out for a cigarette in the cold, damp evening air to try waking himself up more. He was still new to the job's late-night schedule. He was also out in the cold to get away from the old man who frequently barked at him for being lazy. He was Jude, the youngest of the three as he was approaching his middle age years the next month. The old man he was hiding from is Hamish Paterson, the temp for the real owner of the farm who was an old man in Germany.

The Haunted Children's Hospital (Chapter 2)
'Devon stared into the darkness of the hallway. One lone light shined, its glow a sickly yellow color. Mustering all the courage he had, Devon started down the hallway, which seemed longer than it looked. Laughter came from one of the rooms, but he was sure that the fear inside him was making him hear things. A loud—'

Death
Bob is talking to Branden about a strange phone call. He's standing in front of the big picture window, with the perfect view of the front yard. Just one bare tree in the center, and a driveway off to the left with three vehicles sitting in it, but one of the vehicles is unusual in the fact that Bob has never seen it before, but knows it belongs to his father.

The Haunted Children's Hospital (Chapter 1)
"Anaiya! Dinner!" "Coming!" I closed my laptop and ran downstairs. Boxes were strewn here and there, their contents safely tucked in packing material. As I walked into the kitchen, cooking utensils were already put in their proper places. A sweet smell came from the dining room, making my mouth water. Following the smell, I saw a woman of medium stature with long and wavy blonde hair setting up the dining room table for three people. She wore a light orange shirt and blue jean capris.

The Best Pie In London
The woman seated at table 12 screamed. She leapt to her feet and dropped her cutlery onto her plate. The fork spattered dark gravy over the crisp table linen. The knife slid off and clattered on the floor. Her high-backed chair teetered for a moment on two legs then toppled backwards. It crashed against the striped floorboards. Every other diner fell silent and turned to look, but she continued screaming. Her husband, fork frozen halfway to his mouth, stared at her.

Movie Review: 'Raw'
I hate the movie Raw. I hate every second of the movie Raw. This challenging cannibalistic French horror movie put me through the ringer for 99 challenging minutes and I hated it. And yet, I can’t say it isn’t a damn brilliant film. Director Julia Ducornau directs this movie with such surety, such confidence and with such undeniable wit that I have to admit my appreciation of the film as a work of art, even as I will never watch Raw ever again.

Best 80s Horror Movies of All Time
Some of the most infamous horror movies of all time came out of the 1980s. As movie producers in the 2010s run out of ideas for scary movies, they frequently default to creating remakes of huge 80s franchises (like the ones we're about to tell you about). You might not have realized it before now, but today's pop culture (shoutout to Fabolous and Jadakiss's new single) is largely influenced by the best 80s horror movies.

Don't Go in There
6:45 AM My alarm clock jolted on. I groaned and buried my head under my pillow trying to ignore it. Why on earth would I set my alarm this early on a Saturday? The upbeat song that was playing ended and the local morning show hosts began cracking jokes about a marathon that is taking place today. Now I remember. I smile as I pulled my head out from under the pillow. I had entered in today's marathon. I had started running as a way to cope with a bad break up. Exercise had become an outlet to relieve my stress and depression.
