Survival Journal Entry 1
Today, the walls fell. There was a horde of zombies that drifted in from the East. We have never had anything come from that direction, but I guess they have been forced to migrate further for food. We lost 12 people but it could have been much, much worse. We are still not spread too thin, but so many people are mourning, I have no idea how long it will take to bounce back but it better be fast. The wall repairs will take a week on their own so we need to get started asap.

The tile looked warm from the light but was cold and uninviting, hostile to the touch. The closer she moved toward the door the more of her exposed skin brushed the tile, raising the hairs on her neck.

Premonitory Dreams Vs. Regular Dreams
Where do I start? I guess It all started when I was young. Dreaming... There are dreams that you feel awake, there are some that you suddenly wake up from because you feel like you're falling off of a cliff, to the nightmares, to the dreams that feel so real you can't tell the difference between real life and the dream itself, to the ones you can't run or punch anything when in a compromised position, to the ones that you know you're dreaming so you decide to be the bad ass you've always been but… slightly more dramatic I guess.

The Visitor
It was a long, hard weekend. I was just plain tired. First, it was teaching the children in the morning. Then, it was the things that my buddies and I had gone through with the dead. Why can't the dead stay dead? In any case, I am looking forward to a good night's well-deserved rest.
