The Creek's Light Chapter 1: Personality Disorder
The sounds of running water rushing down as a cool but gentle breeze hits my face. I can smell a nice scent of lavender sending a calming sigh to come from my mouth. I knew for a fact that his peaceful darkness never lasted like how I wanted to. *Bang* *Bang* *Bang* I knew it...

The Haunted Experience
Nothing like a good ole scary story in the month of October; for me personally I like scary stories all year round. But this really isn't going to be something like there's a knock at the door and the killer is there. This will be more of my views and personal experiences with... dare I say... ghosts! Many people don't believe in ghosts, but then there are many people that do. Just to go off track for a second... Aliens, Bigfoot or whatever is out there, we don't REALLY know for sure what is walking among us. I've always said you have to be somewhat arrogant to not have a open mind or heck even have some fun to think of those things out there. Anyway, I've personally had many encounters with something I'm STILL not too fully sold on but I could say there are definitely things out there.

A Pagan's Inquisition
Our town was Pagan, and consisted of gypsies and other groups of nomads. My name was Yndira. I was half-French and half-Indian (my mom was white enough and knew French) and a redhead. Our town was in France, but close to the border with England. There was a city there that ruled our town. The guards they sent were cold and unwelcome. They wore red and yellow tabards with Crusaders’ crosses on them, which meant they were sent by their bishops. They had armor under their tabards and carried spears. I certainly never welcomed them.

The Night He Came Home
The first horror movie I ever watched with my parents was Halloween when I was 10 years old. My dad wanted me to see it, and despite my mom's reluctance, the three of us watched it together. I remember being scared but at the same time thinking it was such a cool movie. The special effects were nothing to brag about and many would just describe it as just another one of those slasher films, but what makes it stand out to me is the suspense that you feel throughout the entire film. The eerie music, the unsuspected suspenseful surprises, and the heavy sounds of Michael Meyers' breath as the film ends... all of those little things are really what ties the movie together and makes it a classic horror flick.

10 Horror Movies on Netflix UK to Watch This Halloween
I love watching horror movies all year round but particularly in October, and considering Netflix UK has a decent sized catalogue of horror movies I figured I would put together a list of some of my favourites in time for you to watch some for Halloween.

Ramblings About the Holiday Season
I think I will start writing about the holiday season, see it is been a while since I have written so I am a little rusty. I mean, look at that first sentence, how sloppy is that? Several months ago I could have written that a lot better, but the only way to regain my “writers flow” is to jump right back into the swing of things and to start from the beginning.
