Marina
You stand at the balcony of the staircase, the early morning sun throwing rainbows of color over you like waves from the stained glass behind you. The cool, crisp air smells sweet as it brushes by through an open window. You take a deep, long awaited breath—you’re finally home. You’re in your very own place for the first time. It’s a good yet nervous feeling as you move down the stairs while examining the amazing wood work of the railing. It leads you to a grand entrance way, the polished ash grey wood floor and dark cream walls are warm and welcoming surrounded with the boxes left yet to unpack.

Little Miss Molly
There she was again... the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. We took the same bus to and from school, and walk the same road home. I had never had the nerve to talk to her but, right then, I had to. The next day was graduation so it may have been my last shot. I raced up to her on the walk home, we were the only two that got off the bus here.

The Willow
“Meet me at the willow at 3 AM,” she called to the boy as he ran to his class. The only thing the boy could do was smile as he watched his high school sweetheart run away with that big goofy grin on her face that she always had. But he was afraid to go to the willow, the willow was deep in the forest, it is the biggest tree in the forest. People who went to the willow at night are found hours later, hanging from a branch. Even the happiest of people would be found hanging from the tree. The boy believed in the stories that the willow would take the lives for its own, but his sweetheart didn’t. She said not everyone is as happy as they seemed.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Residue' (2017)
You know what? This actually wasn't half bad. Seriously, I was impressed. We're not exactly talking Oscars material here, but it was good. It entertained and was compelling enough to really grab you and keep you.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Hungerford' (2014)
My fucking GOD this movie was actively painful to watch. And as "Shaky Camera" goes, the acting actually wasn't shit, so it doesn't fall into the same category of failure as The Bay for instance. This movie didn't even fail because it was a good movie ruined by Shaky Camera like The Taking of Deborah Logan. Though, it had some of those failed elements. This movie failed because it was a shit premise, with a shit execution, using shit trope, and shit effects. The fact that it's Shaky Camera is just pissing into a river of shit.

Brunkcow's Cabin
When thinking of gunslingers, murder, the goldrush and ghosts, one can’t help but to think of Tombstone, Arizona where the wildest of the west was fought but Southwest of Tombstone in Cochise County are the remains of a simple adobe cabin by the name of Brunkcow’s Cabin nicknamed ‘the bloodiest cabin in Arizona’. Brunkcow’s Cabin is the scene of at least twenty-one deaths with many of those who died buried on the property.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of "The Signal" (2014)
Laurence Fishburne, you try so damn hard, but there's just no carrying these shit films. I shouldn't be so harsh, this movie wasn't that bad, but it was entirely predictable. I should also say that the rest of the cast did a pretty good job too. Mr. Fishburne didn't carry the burden of this movie all by himself, but, unfortunately, even a great cast really didn't make up for such bad writing. I almost feel as though it's okay to get into the spoilers without warning because, honestly, if you aren't three steps ahead of the plot, at least... well, you're likely of the same cognitive capacity as half the people who voted for Trump. Spoiler alert, he won't keep any of his campaign promises, drain our economy and triple the deficit.
