Muerte del Mujeriego (Death of the Womanizer)
A lively Saturday night in a growing city the evening was promising. Young, built, and attractive, Darren's options for entertainment and pleasure were beyond guaranteed. Plowing into the couch after a shot, and double shot, of whiskey, he picked up the phone. Visuals always assisted Darren when making selections. His apartment was very modern and stylish. A warehouse vibe, Darren loved his open man cave. Ceiling to floor large pane windows put the universe on display. A crisp winter night with a deep blue background, the stars were especially bright. Educated, the sky always baffled Darren. So vast, so beautiful, and so much to be explored, but too far away so lost.

Let's Talk Paranormal (Pt. 4)
In light of the most recent episode of Ghost Adventures, I have decided to shift gears. In a previous article, I addressed the attachments of host Zak Bagans in America’s Most Haunted, and during the most recent episode—on Saturday, November 24—that point was driven home.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Child's Play (1988)'
Anyone who says this franchise is crap can fuck right the hell off. Yeah, the latter installments are silly as all hell. Yeah, Curse of Chucky was a complete pile of crap. Yeah, there was a lot about the first one that was problematic. But all things considered, this is one of the best franchises in horror. Chucky is iconic, and it's no mistake.

Best Slasher Movies on Netflix. Top Story - November 2018.
It is human nature to embrace the intrinsic feeling of manufactured fear. Obviously, nobody wants to go toe-to-toe with a real-life murderer (I mean, unless you're into that kind of stuff?), but watching some on-screen slashers is always a guaranteed way to get that blood flowing. Luckily, with the best slasher movies on Netflix, it's easier to get your adrenaline pumping like never before. With a wide variety of gruesome films, the flagship streaming service can be your go to for all things gory.

A Short Review of 'Suspiria' (2018, Luca Guadagnino)
When I first heard that there was going to be a remake of one of my favourite horrors ever, Suspiria (1977, Dario Argento), I was quite skeptical and apprehensive. However, after hearing more and more about it and seeing the trailer, I gradually became more intrigued. I soon decided that it's at least worth giving a chance and I am certainly glad that I gave it a chance.

Mary and the Monster
Mary, Mary quite scary, how does your writing go? With lightning strikes and cadaver parts, and pretty skulls all in a row. Mary Godwin’s mother made her a writer, but didn’t live long enough to raise her. Mary Wollstonecraft, a girl who had always argued that women were meant for more than the home and confinement bed died there, her very womb poisoning her from the inside out. Mary had been born of death, a fact she never really could forget.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Blood Hunter' (2016)
This is one of my earliest reviews of a movie from that plucky little film studio Gravitas. This movie was one of the first that got Gravitas on my radar as a movie that was going to start turning out trash horror. As a connoisseur of trash horror, I really learned to love Gravitas with little gems like this. Not everything they put out is a gem, and everything they put out needed WAY more editing, but we are talking about a shoe string budget here.

Creepypastas
So we all know what creepypastas are: ghost stories or urban legends that are spread through the internet and sometimes through word of mouth. I decided to research and try to find some of the creepiest of them all. I already told you the story of Slender Man and all of the madness that is linked to it. So without further stalling here are more creepypastas.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of John Carpenter's 'The Thing' (1982)
What is it about this movie that makes it so perfect? I mean, let's be honest, John Carpenter wasn't exactly heading into the 80s with a background in horror gems. I mean, we are talking about the man who was responsible for Dark Star and The Fog. In fact, in his early years we would come to expect he'd be producing a lot more good-bad movies than timeless horror classics.

There's Something in the Woods and I Think it Has My Wife
The fire crackled, sucking away the only coolness that the stone fireplace offered. It was unsure of itself, seeping through the logs and caving out the middle of the wood. It emitted a heated scent; one that reminded me of the one camp I went to as a child.
