Stork
Picture day was always a big deal for all the children attending a certain elementary school on a certain New Mexico street. The whole school may come off as pretentious, but this school was made this way for the children. Not to impress the school board or the parents. The children love the colors and the nice things everywhere. They loved these things, but not as much as they loved picture day. Taking a picture of them was a different type of playtime. It was to make silly faces while being told "no, don't do it like that" by the cameraman. All the children were dressed up, for not themselves but the parents. Is picture day for the children or for the adults, anyone might ask here. Not one child was making a sad face or not wanting to take said pictures. When the classes took group photos, it was something magical. With the words "Say cheese!" being shouted, everyone makes a silly face while the teacher feels all the joy. Children are a wonderful thing given to adults by a stork. Can a stork take away a child from their parents, one might ask?

Movie Review: 'IT: Chapter Two'
Welcome movie lovers! It: Chapter Two is by far the scariest horror movie this writer has ever seen. The director for this movie, Andrés Muschietti, did an amazing job by directing the entire cast and crew. The actors portrayed their characters very well. Each character learned how to overcome their fears and why the “Losers' Club” meant so much to them individually and collectively.

Nightmare Journal: Knife Intruder
*Ding Clang Ding* *Ding Clang Ding* I let out a hoarse groan as I reach over to get my phone off the charger. Its dusk, no sound needs to be that loud right now, especially on one hour of sleep. I stupidly worked out later than I should have last night and my pre-workout surged through my body, keeping me up until 4 AM. My alarm was set for 5, and then 5:05, 5:10, 5:15, etc.; I had to be at Mary’s at 6:45, and I had already slept in late on her once so I couldn’t let it happen again. I punish myself by getting up at one of the earlier dings, for it’s my fault I kept the energy going anyways. My workout wasn’t as strenuous as it usually is because my new smoking habit made my lungs collapse easier on my run, therefore I settled for walking, which took little to no energy from my cracked out veins.

‘The Fanatic’ Movie Review
Directed by Fred Durst, of all people, The Fanatic is a stalker flick about a guy named Moose (John Travolta) who idolizes an actor named Hunter Dunbar (Devon Sawa). After just barely missing his chance to get Dunbar’s autograph, Moose approaches him in the alleyway as he is leaving. When Dunbar understandably tells him off, it only makes Moose even more obsessed with him, and that obsession soon begins to spill over into Hunter’s personal life.

Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Toad Road' (2012)
Toad Road invokes an urban legend about a place where the seven gates of hell can be visited right here on earth, a place right in your own home town. It's the sort of stories you hear about that trail that use to be a utility road for an insane asylum, or a place like a sewer tunnel with labyrinthine ducts like the one in New Jersey. We had one in my home town in CT, the Norwich asylum. It's the sort of place you hear about when you're in high school; not coincidentally the place you likely went to do drugs. Or maybe that was just me and my friends. It starts with the sense you're being watched, then touched, then assaulted metaphysically, and so on. And here we find ourselves, of all the idiotic ideas, engaging in drug culture for a cheep thrill and a little sense of adventure. If you identify with that, you will love this movie. Even if you're just a ghost hunter who digs urban legends, you will love this movie.

Nightmare Journal: Ribs
Homophobia, in my opinion, can be shown in many ways. It doesn’t matter if it’s the smallest trace of inequality, if it’s there, it’s a homophobic tendency at the least, and nothing pisses me off more than homophobia still happening in the year 2019. There are no excuses. Especially when it’s coming from my mom. Throughout the years, my brothers have had various girlfriends, all of which have been allowed to sleepover whenever they pleased, which happened to be more often than not. Now, I was never the one to date much, but when I had my first serious boyfriend, my mom could have cared less that he slept over. She barely knew his name, but he had all the same bedroom rights as my brothers' girlfriends have had, so when I got my first serious girlfriend, I thought the rules would remain the same. I was mistaken.

‘3 From Hell’ Movie Review
Rob Zombie’s 3 From Hell is the completion of his slasher trilogy about the Firefly family, preceded by 2003s House of 1000 Corpses and 2005s The Devil’s Rejects. After miraculously surviving a shootout with the police, Baby Firefly (Sherri Moon Zombie), Otis “Driftwood” Firefly (Bill Mosley), and Captain Spaulding (the, as of recently, late Sid Haig) are all put on death row. But following a bloody prison break, assisted by a new member of the Firefly clan, their half-brother Winslow Foxworth Coltrane, AKA “the Midnight Wolf-Man” (Richard Brake), the titular killers attempt to make a break for Mexico.
