Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Cloverfield' (2008)
As a horror head, one of the most interesting things I ever heard about horror was from my father. When he was a kid, the idea of Godzilla scared the shit out of him. Today, we crave something more out of modern horror. The idea of being scared by Kaiju sounds kinda cute, really. Even with the advent of Shin Godzilla, going back to the roots of the evil king lizard, it's not what anyone would really consider scary.

'Hocus Pocus'—A Movie Review
I have put a spell on you, and now this night is filled with hocus pocus! Hocus Pocus flew into theaters 26 years ago for a Halloween nobody would ever forget. Spike Island – A Glimpse into the Unknown...
With a passion for horror, mystery, and anything weird, I am always looking for creepy and extraordinary things to do. And Ireland is a good place to do this. Basically every Irish person is born with a great amount of superstition.

Movie Review: 'A.M.I' Is Better than 'Jexi'
I can say this for the new phone based slasher movie A.M.I: It's better than the equally phone obsessed nationwide theatrical release, Jexi. A.M.I is a courageous, artistically limited new horror movie that recently debuted on Netflix, timed to coincide, I assume, with the release of the Adam Devine comedy Jexi. Both films are about young people whose phone is related to their parental issues.

Pale-Skinned Succubus
She appeared in front of him with flaring red hair and pale skin that made it look like hardened milk. She was very beautiful in her gothic creepy sense, as she had this white skimpy dress with cleavage staring right at his wandering eyes that were scanning her beautiful pale arms and legs. Her eyes, thought, were bright red as she greeted him with an enticing smile across her face and her tongue moving exotically upon her upper lip.

Choose Them Wisely
The signing up process was scaringly smooth. After filling in my profile details, I quickly scrolled down through the terms and conditions. I’m a businesswoman. I don’t have time for that. I was just one click away to getting automated and personalised posts. Well, one click and one pill. I must admit that the whole pill thing put me off a little. But all my colleagues had already been in the social network for a while and I couldn’t afford to be left behind. After all, it’s crucial to have a decent online presence, and if it was all a matter of swallowing a pill, I wasn’t going to chicken out. The purple pill gave me a stabbing headache for a week. Every little thing would irritate me and I was struggling to get through the days, but I couldn’t be off work for something like that. Yes, it was a bit of a nightmare, but I’ve had it worse. How could I be so naive? The worst was yet to come…

The 10 Best Horror Movies Ever Made
Halloween is around the corner and it's time to reflect. 10. The Ring (2002) People dying seven days after watching a mysterious tape. Yeah, seen that many times. But this movie never fails to amaze; even after watching it 10 times, you will still be creeped out when Samara climbs out of the hole and moves towards the screen. That kid is absolutely terrifying and the movie should not be missed in any horror lover's DVD collection.

Review of 'Evil' 1.3
A good Evil 1.3 last night, which pits hacking vs. possession as the reason a victim's Alexa-like device is plaguing him. Digital technology vs. demon is a logical and appealing variation on the general science vs. religion central tension of this series, and it provides a good spotlight for Ben (well played by Aasif Mandvi), the techie third leg of the powerful David-Kristen-Ben triad. Demons have a great history of being in machines, and even in the popular parlance, as the phrase "ghost in the machine" amply demonstrates.

Payne of the Bites (Pt. 6)
"Those genuinely in charge of the bio weapon program chose to disable the bio weapon specimen's protective sequence." They wanted to see how powerful and nimble the creature had gotten in such a short period of time. The elemental target's satellite position was ultimately revealed by a tiny beeping sound. The target's goal is to be apprehended before the killings begin. One of the scientists now intended to employ advanced teleportation technology to launch soldiers into enemy territory and deliver the elemental target right inside the underground facility. This scientist was killed by the bio-weapon immediately after the transit process was completed."
