Witch in the Wood
Baying dogs. They're closer than the last time I heard them. Catching up. I don't know how long I can keep going; I can barely breathe. Cries of "Witch!" ring in my head, a pounding rhythm that builds with every panicked step. My dress catches and tears, my hands long ago reduced to a bloody, mangled mess. My feet are probably worse, but I can't stop to think about it; if I don't make it out of the woods I won't survive. I have to keep going.

Paranoia
It's almost 2 AM but sleep seems not to come yet. I have to get up early to have my job hunting again. It's been six months since my graduation and I'm still jobless. Most of my batch mates are already out there in the corporate world. They are already making their names known to the world by now. I'm still here confined in my room thinking what else must I do to finally land that dream job.

The Leprechaun of Laurel Grove Cemetery.
One cold January afternoon a friend and I decided to walk through Laurel Grove cemetery in Port Townsend Washington where the intricate beautifully hand-crafted head stones seemed to beckon to us as we drove by. I have always loved old cemeteries for the beauty of the old headstones and the stories they told.

Teaching junior
Big John Miller loved Sundays. That was when young John Miller junior would come over and hang out in the shed with Ol' Grandad. The girls, his wife of fifty-three years, Margaret and his daughter Phillipa would be inside getting Sunday dinner ready. They would be chopping and preparing vegetables and cakes for dessert. They would be talking about whatever girls talked about when they chopped and prepared, and he would get to hang out with John Junior for the day.

trick or treat, horror movie review
Halloween, a time of free candy, doorbell rings, scary movies, and costumed kids abound, and there are alot of great halloween based movies such as the correctly named Halloween, however today i am gonna be reviewing on of my personal favorites, the halloween based anthology movie, Trick or Treat. This film is told from a non-linear prospective although all the seperate stories do tie together in by the mysterious orange footie pajama wereing sack-masked child sized figure known only as Sam who appears in all of the stories. Now this type of genre again is a very easy one to mess up and can quickly go off the rails if handled by the wrong director but this director clearly knew exactly what he was doing. There wa a story of a killer school principal who poisoned a fat kid who didnt obey the rules of halloween (which we find out later is what sam is there for), and i love how sam simply takes candy from the principal and leaves very innocently but it really hides something un-human that we get to see in full view later.

Paranormal Experiences
Sleep paralysis is something that, unfortunately, everybody will experience at least once in their lives. Whether it be auditory or visual, it’s a traumatic experience that occurs when the brain is awake, and the body has not yet caught up. This is when the individual vessel is at its most vulnerable. This means that spirits and other maliciously fueled entities are most able to take the body from the soul.

13 sins, a horror film review
I love the main plot of 13 sins, with the corrupt game show host forcing the less han willing participant into his sick games, a tuly wonderful horror film plot but yet one that is so easy to mess up. This film does just that, it messes it up in alot of ways, and it's first flaw was it's short build up of the main character, in a time of only fourteen minutes, and we get a very generic bland guy who is in need of financial help, this being a plot point that is wayyyyyyyyyyyy to over-used.

Happy Bird-day
I slid over a patch of musty papers as I rapidly turned another corner, nearly sending me crashing into the third-story window to my left. I regained my footing without losing much speed, though. And good thing I did, too, because whatever bird-demon-creature was behind me was right on my heels, and I was barely making any headway getting away from him.
