Reed Alexander's Horror Review of 'Polaroid' (2019)
It's weird that I ended up watching this movie right after the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street (Elm Str). They have a lot of odd similarities. I think the person who wrote this movie, might have been trying to come up with a new adaption on the Elm Str. concept, and just phoned it in. I mean, a child murderer, with supernatural powers, uses them within a very strict mythos, to murder the children of the people who killed him.

Reap
Death welcomed me. Cold. Expressionless. Dark. Then light overtook the darkness bursting forth around me like a freshly struck match. It was not warm, but blinding and painful. I struggled against it, some part of my mind fought for the darkness, the only tether to the world I had known. That tether snapped and I was pulled into the light and out again.

These Real Life Final Destination Cases Are Way Creepier Than The Movies
The Final Destination series has produced some of the most successful movies of recent times, with a great plot line (initially intended to be an episode of The X-Files), and some of the goriest on screen deaths ever made. Final Destination is about a group of kids who cheat death, yet in the end, everyone ends up dying in some sort of freaky and unexpected way, either days, or months, after they were meant to die.

The hunt for the Kentucky wolfman
Ok so well, as the break ended and the sun rose I got in an argument with Steve over an idea to use his wife as creature bait due to her psychic abilities she would be able to attract the entity much easier, although Steve objected which got us in a little fight I swung a punch but Steve ducked and counter hit me in the face and then flipped me over his shoulder onto the RVs floor and I jump kicked Steve who flew out the half opened door and after grabbing a metal pellet gun I shot steve 20 times although Steve having a high pain tolerance kept on running thru and tackled me then head butted me and b-slapped me 10 times before pointing the gun point blank in my face “she is not a toy to use in your thrill-seeking scientific pursuit of that which is the paranormal doctor” he said to me, however as Steve cocked back the hammer I tried pleading with him, however the only thing that which stopped Steve right as he started to pull back the trigger was when his wife agreed to do it much to Steve’s shock “I understand the doctors desires Steven and I agree....ugh boys, so childish” she said as she went to take a shower.

The devils floor
Ok so Cramped space, small beds, a small tv, the life living in a RV with 3 people and leading a monster hunting group. However while there are perks and downsides, this time my teams hunts on the devil’s floor, located in a local 5 star hotel in Atlanta Georgia. Once me and my team got there I sent Steve’s wife to gather information on the hotel, she had on a purple spaghetti strap top, a black leather jacket, black jeans, and black boots, Steve had on a white shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes, and me... my usual University shirt and custom made suit. Steve and I investigated the hotel itself, we questioned the manager who claimed that “your the first guest who will stay in that floor since the 80s” and we pressed further and and found out there was a botched ritual to summon the devil done on that floor.

From Austrian directing duo Severin Fiala and Veronika Franz, The Lodge is the story of brother and sister Aidan (Jaeden Martell, aka Jaeden Lieberher) and Mia (Lia McHugh). Their parents are separated, and when their father, Richard (Richard Armitage), informs their mother, Laura (Alicia Silverstone), that he intends to marry his girlfriend, Grace (Riley Keough), she commits suicide. The kids now resent both Grace and their father, as they blame them both for what happened to their mom. When their dad tells Aidan and Mia that Grace will be joining them at their lodge in the mountains for Christmas, the two siblings are furious, so when Richard has to go back to the house for a couple days, tensions run high and are only made worse by their isolation.
