What's In Your House
What Is Made In Your Country - What's Your Rosebush

There were most likely different photo's that would have been more appropriate for this article. However, my splash one (although it was good), and my rainbow one (although it was good), were getting a bit old, and I have used it for so many articles, it was time for a change. So this is the rose bush in my back yard. It is indeed also very pretty indeed.
What This Article Is About
It is not about photo's. It is about the items in your house.
Will You Look In Your Home For An Item That Is Made In Your Country
This is a challenge as much as it is an article. I went looking for items that were made in the United States because:
I ordered some T-shirts off the internet, and one said "American Made" and one said, "Made in the USA".
However, when I got them, they had a tag on them that said "Made in Honduras", so I called Amazona dn they said "Made in the USA was a brand name. I told the gentlemen in customer service, it was false advertising. I am afraid at almost 70 years old, I have lost my filters.
So I decided to go in search of items made in the USA. As of yet, I haven't found any clothing items or linen items yet. Only food products.
What I Did Find
I did find a Libman broom and dust pan that was made in the United States of America.
And I know my Mohair Teddy Bears are made in the USA because I ordered them special from a crafter. Whether the materials are made in the USA, I have no idea.
I thought I had a good find, I told my husband just today to look at the bright beautiful decorative thermometer on our living room wall and see where it was made. It said "Made in the USA in 2013. However, once I googled it, this is what it said:
AcruRite thermometers are designed and distributed by the US-based company Chaney Instrument Company, but they are primarily manufactured in China.
Maybe You Will Have Better Luck
Please look in your house for items made in your country, and then leave a comment of what it is and what country you are from.
I Am Still Looking In My House
Upon inspecting our closets and our bureau droor, there is clothing and shoes from a lot of different countries, including China, Viet Nam, India and Honduras, Indonesia, Malaysia and a host of other countries, but nothing from the United States of America.
If You Are Wondering Why President Trump Is Doing What He Is Doing -Wonder No More
I admit my closets needed cleaning out, however, but what I found is a point for what President Donald Trump is saying and doing.
Have you ever wondered if other countries stopped exporting goods to the United States what would we do?
Perhaps Melania and Donald looked through their closets and perhaps what they found was absolutely frightening.
I Am Still Looking
You can't even trust a T-Shirt that has an American flag on it and says- Made in the USA - (It's a brand name they say). I say it's false advertising.
I Did Have Another Writer, that actually rose to the challenge, look through his house and found a broom and a dust pan that was made here in the USA. It was a Libman Broom, and it was a precious find indeed.
I also found I had one, and a dust pan to, all made in the United States of America.
What's in Your Closet
I am looking for items that are currently being made in the United States.
Are We Loosing Manufacturing or Just Giving It Away For Lower Prices?
Will It Also Weaken Our Position in the World?

If you find something made in the United States, please leave a comment and let me know what it is . I would consider going out and buying it or ordering it.

Well, it's good in a way. Manufacture causes lots of pollution too.
you made an important point- to make the situation more complex, i was shocked when i read, 15 years ago- that china sends workers and fabrics to italy to make made in italy dresses-
I will look as I am decluttering this week.
We have a broom. Nicely Done!!!
