KDB as he is fondly called has once again proved why he is regarded as the best midfielder in the world. He pushed Manchester City through the finish line in an intriguing campaign that saw him amass 10 goals and 31 assists in the process. His outrageous strike in the first leg against Real Madrid helped City to claim a famous 1-1 draw against the Spanish giant before City eventually demolished the Spanish team 4-0 in the 2nd leg at the Etihad Stadium.

He single-handedly demolished Real Madrid in the 2nd Leg of the UEFA Champions League match played at the Etihad Stadium. His well-struck goal in the 23rd Minute of play and a second goal via a cheeky header in the 37th minute of the intriguing encounter was instrumental in the complete demolition of the Spanish giants from the competition.
Bernardo who has been a subject of transfer from City, is noted for his all-round performance both defensively and attacking-wise. The diminutive midfielder who is often deployed in the flanks has warmed himself into the heart of the City supporters and has been urged to extend his contract with the reigning EPL and UEFA Champions League holders.
Nathan Benjamin Ake
When Nathan was bought from Bournemouth on 5th July 2020, not many people gave him any chance to become a regular in Pep’s star-studded team. The Dutch international defender has however proved critics wrong with his superlative performance in City’s heart of defence.
He has been deployed in the central defence and left-back position all through the season. He was one of the unsung heroes in the Istanbul finals of the UEFA Champions League. Always putting his body on the firing line, Nathan has gradually become a firm favorite of Pep and an ever-present in the City backline.
