The birth of shoes and umbrellas

The sage Jamadagni is shooting arrows, his wife Renuka is collecting them. The sage is thinking that this game is a great pleasure; that is why he does not remember any other work today. He keeps shooting arrows at empty cars. Meanwhile, who cares that it's late in the day, that the sun has cracked my palms, that the fire is burning my feet? The sage felt great shooting arrows today.

Poor Renuka is completely healed, her head is throbbing, her feet are blistered, her life is at stake! But the sage doesn't pay any attention to that. He is very happy today, so he keeps throwing arrows at her, saying, "Renuka, come quickly! Why are you delaying?

But Renuka could not bear it any longer. If she did not stand in the shade and rest for a while, she might faint. So she stood under a tree for a moment, and the next moment she ran to the sage.

At this the sage's anger knew no bounds. He frowned and said, "Why did you wait so long?

Renuka, trembling with fear, said with utter pain, The sun is too hot! My head is burning.

I was standing under a tree!

Then the sage came to his senses. He saw that Renuka was truly suffering from the sun.

His body was shaking, he could no longer stand. The sage looked at Renuka's condition, and Pran looked at Surya once, then with both eyes red and a strange frown, he raised one more and said to Sun, "You are so arrogant! You have caused Renuka pain. Stand up. I will show you."

Sun was then in a state of agitation, crying, "Father! You killed me!" He quickly came to Jamadagni in the guise of a Brahmin and said with folded hands, "Lord! What wrong has Sun done to you? "There can be no fruit or grain other than its heat, so why pour it at this time if it is not a little warm? Do you have to kill it for that? And how can you kill it? It is running around in the sky!"

Jamadagni frowned and said, "Go, Bapu! You don't have to play tricks. I've found Cher, who are you? I know very well that you have to stand on your head for a while at noon. At that time, I will shoot an arrow and kill you." Then Surya, very busy, said, "For God's sake, O Munithakur! Please forgive me for this mistake." Yes, please forgive me.

The sages of that time would get angry as soon as they touched him, and would get cold as soon as they clasped their hands! Satisfied by the words of the Sun, the sage Jamadagni said with a smile, "Very well, Thakur, that will happen now. But first, make a way for my wife so that she does not suffer from your heat."

With these words, Sun took out an umbrella and a pair of shoes from inside his cloak and gave them to Jamadagni. No one had ever seen such a wonderful thing before. Munithakur took it in his hand and looked at it many times with immense wonder and curiosity, then asked, "What are we supposed to do with all these weapons?"

Shoe

Sun said, “This thing is called an umbrella; it has to be held on the head like this. And, these two things are called shoes; they have to be worn on the feet like this.” Saying this, Sun went away. From then on, Renuka was also saved from the pain of the sun. From then on, people learned to wear shoes and umbrellas on the head.
