No Excuses 3 Drag Racing Festival
No Excuses – Heads Up Elimination Drag Racing is quickly becoming a must-see event on the Australian motorsport calendar. With classes based on radial tyre sizes, the competition is raw, fierce, and absolutely unmissable.
On February 20th, 2021, No Excuses 3 tore through Heathcote Park Raceway in an epic, adrenaline-fuelled day of racing. Known for bringing together some of Australia’s toughest radial tyre cars, the third instalment of the No Excuses series raised the bar yet again. With its fresh energy and revamped venue, this event was everything the racing community had been waiting for.
This time around, the action shifted to Heathcote Park Raceway, now under new management, and the vibe was next level. The crowd was buzzing, the track was sticky, and the competitors came to play hard. The atmosphere was electric from the very first burnout to the final run of the day.
The Format
The event was broken down into four primary classes:
R235 – Cars running up to a 235 Radial
R275 – Cars running up to a 275 Radial
Radial Outlaw – Any Size Radial Tyre
AWD Shootout – All Wheel Drive monsters go head-to-head
Each class was packed with serious contenders. These drivers weren’t just here for the fun — they were chasing cash prizes, personal bests, and those all-important bragging rights. It was heads-up racing at its rawest — no timing games, no nonsense, just pure send-it style.
