1. Birth of Jesus (Nativity)

Event: Jesus was born in Bethlehem, in a stable, because there was no room in the inn. His birth was foretold by angels, and he was visited by shepherds and wise men from the East, bearing gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

Imagery Description: A humble stable with a radiant baby Jesus in a manger. His parents, Mary and Joseph, are kneeling beside him, while angels and shepherds gather in awe. A star shines brightly overhead, leading the wise men to the scene.

2. Jesus' Childhood and Early Life

Event: Little is known about Jesus' childhood. One notable moment occurred when he was 12 years old and was found in the temple teaching the religious leaders, showing his wisdom even at a young age.

Imagery Description: A young Jesus surrounded by scholars in the temple, confidently discussing scriptures. His parents, Mary and Joseph, are seen in the background, having just found him after searching for days.

3. Baptism by John the Baptist

Event: At the age of 30, Jesus was baptized in the River Jordan by John the Baptist. This event marked the beginning of his public ministry. As he was baptized, the heavens opened, and a dove descended, symbolizing the Holy Spirit.

Imagery Description: Jesus standing waist-deep in the river, with John pouring water over his head. Above them, the sky opens with a bright light, and a dove descends, while crowds watch from the riverbanks.

4. Temptation in the Wilderness

Event: After his baptism, Jesus fasted for 40 days in the wilderness, where he was tempted by Satan. He resisted each temptation, demonstrating his divine nature and obedience to God.

Imagery Description: Jesus, thin from fasting, stands on a rocky hillside as Satan, in a shadowy form, tempts him with the promise of earthly power. Jesus stands firm, looking toward the heavens.

5. Jesus' Teachings and Miracles

Event: Jesus spent much of his ministry teaching about the Kingdom of God. He performed numerous miracles, such as healing the sick, raising the dead, turning water into wine, walking on water, and feeding 5,000 people with just five loaves and two fish.

Imagery Description: A scene of Jesus standing before a large crowd, holding a loaf of bread and fish, while people around him marvel as baskets of food multiply. Others depict him touching the sick or blind, and they are healed instantly.

6. The Last Supper

Event: On the night before his crucifixion, Jesus shared a final meal with his twelve disciples, known as the Last Supper. Here, he instituted the sacrament of communion, breaking bread and sharing wine, symbolizing his body and blood.

Imagery Description: Jesus sits at a long table with his disciples, breaking bread and offering wine. The mood is solemn, as Jesus speaks of his impending betrayal, with Judas looking uneasy.

7. Crucifixion of Jesus

Event: Jesus was betrayed by Judas, arrested, and put on trial. Despite being found innocent by Roman governor Pontius Pilate, he was sentenced to death by crucifixion. He was nailed to a cross and died to atone for the sins of humanity.

Imagery Description: A powerful image of Jesus on the cross, with a crown of thorns on his head, and a somber sky above. Mary and John, his beloved disciple, stand weeping at the foot of the cross.

8. Resurrection

Event: Three days after his crucifixion, Jesus rose from the dead, proving his divinity and offering eternal life to those who believe in him. His resurrection is the cornerstone of Christian faith.

Imagery Description: The empty tomb with the stone rolled away. Jesus, radiant and full of life, appears to Mary Magdalene, who is kneeling in awe before him, while angels sit inside the tomb.

9. Ascension to Heaven

Event: After appearing to his disciples for 40 days, Jesus ascended into heaven from the Mount of Olives, promising to return one day.

Imagery Description: Jesus rising into the clouds, with his disciples looking up in wonder. A bright light surrounds him as he ascends toward the heavens.
