Elizabeth's life was like a fairy tale about a little princess. Her father tried to give her everything a girl could want: a luxurious mansion, the most expensive toys, the best cook and servants, an elite school, many clubs and entertainment - everything for any daughter. She had absolutely everything, but still did not feel happy... Elizabeth didn't understand why she needed all this when she didn't have the most important thing in her life - her MOM. Two years ago, Elizabeth's mother died of cancer. Unfortunately, no treatment could save her from the clutches of death. And she and her father were left alone.

Michael, Elizabeth's father, was a very successful businessman. His company was engaged in construction. He was always busy with work, so he and his daughter spent very little time together. Elizabeth missed her father terribly... On those evenings when her father could read a book with the girl, Elizabeth forgot about her loss and it seemed to her that her mother was there, just in another room. After that, the child would fall asleep very quickly and sweetly in her own bed.

One night, the girl woke up to a sharp sound. A gust of wind had opened the window. But, surprisingly, Elizabeth was not afraid. She did not call her father or nanny and went to close the window herself. She climbed up on the windowsill and suddenly saw a strange man standing under the window. He was gesturing with his hands, as if trying to tell the girl something. Elizabeth thought that it was someone from work, as it often happened, who came to see her father, so she closed the window and went back to bed.

In the morning, as usual, she went downstairs to say hello to her father. Elizabeth wanted to tell him about her night's adventures, but she didn't have time. Dad was in a hurry to get to work again and didn't have time. The girl knew how important her father's work was, so she did not keep him. But her heart was in pain... Those few minutes in the morning and evening when her father could spend time with her daughter were very little for her. Only in the summer, when her father took a vacation, could they spend two weeks together. Those were the happiest days for Elizabeth.

That day was ordinary: she and her nanny had breakfast and tea. But the girl was very sad. She dreamed about her mom. Elizabeth missed her very much. To distract herself a little, she decided to watch a video from her birthday, when her mother was still alive. She often did this when she was very sad. In the evening, the nanny read a fairy tale and Elizabeth fell asleep sweetly. But at night, the girl woke up again from a sharp sound. This time it was a car pulling into the yard. She ran to the window to see her dad, who had come home from work, but she saw the same man again as the night before. He was holding a gun and pointing it at her father. Elizabeth was scared and quickly ran downstairs to warn her dad and stop the killer... As she hugged her father, she told him that she had seen the strange man pointing a gun at him and that he was still standing in the street. But none of the adults saw anyone on the street. This strange incident frightened the girl, she did not understand why she was the only one who saw the strange man...

A few days passed. One evening, her father came home not alone. The girl guessed that sooner or later, her father would have someone in his personal life. He introduced his wife to the girl at dinner. Suddenly, a man's figure appeared in the dining room, he was translucent, and it was the first time the girl had seen him, and with him appeared the man Elizabeth had seen with a gun on the street. The girl looked at her dad and Margot, but they were talking to each other and didn't notice anyone. Elizabeth did not understand how these people could appear in their house out of nowhere, as if out of thin air, and why only she could see them. The strange thing was that the men did not scare the child, but on the contrary, as if by gestures they offered to play a game with them. One of them held a photo album in his hands, which he offered to look at with his facial expressions. Suddenly, both the album and the unusual guests melted into thin air. Elizabeth did not say anything to her father about this.

After a while, Margarita and her father decided to get married and live together. The relationship between Margot and Elizabeth was good, they found a common language. One night, when Margot fell asleep next to Elizabeth, the girl woke up abruptly again. Suddenly, the familiar figures of translucent men began to appear in the room again. The girl was not afraid of them, they made her laugh. This time, another figure appeared... he had a knife around his neck. The figure again showed the same photo album as the first time in the dining room. All three of them pointed at Margot. The figures were trying to show something with their gestures, but the girl could not understand what they were trying to tell her. She perceived it as a game. She imagined that the magicians were performing a show for her. Elizabeth did not wake Margot up because she knew that adults did not see these creatures. Suddenly, Margot started to wake up, and the girl pretended to be asleep. When Margot left the room, Elizabeth saw something shining near her mother's portrait. It looked like a firefly. It seemed to beckon the girl to follow it. The girl believed in fairy tales, so she was not afraid and followed the light from her mother's photo. "I wonder where it will lead me?" - the girl thought. They went down to the first floor and the holy man flew into the closet under the stairs and sat on an object. Looking closely, the girl gasped. It was the same photo album that the strange men had shown her, whom only she could see. Elizabeth sat down on the floor and began to look at the album. It contained some newspaper clippings, photos, and articles. The girl recognized the three men in them, they were in different photos with ... Margot? Yes, she recognized her as well. The girl did not understand what the clippings were about. Fortunately, she heard someone on the ground floor and called out to him. It was the nanny. The girl asked what was in the album. The woman quickly looked through the text and her hands shook. She had to warn her employer and Elizabeth's father as soon as possible. He was in mortal danger. The nanny went to the master's room to tell him. She knocked just as Margarina slipped Michael the poisoned tea. The nanny asked him not to drink anything and gave him a photo album. It turned out that Margot kept this album as a memory of her previous husbands, whom she had killed in cold blood, but miraculously avoided responsibility. Three times she became a widow and heiress of a large fortune. Until now, no one could prove anything. But this time it was different. An examination found that the tea contained a poison that causes a heart attack.

Eventually, Elizabeth realized who the men were. They appeared to her from the other world and tried to warn her of the danger. The girl was immensely grateful because the spirits had saved the only person she cared about in this world.
