However, according to native Alaskans and the tales passed down, humans and giants were never at peace with one another. The Giants are said to be between 12 and 20 feet tall, and they hunt people and see humans as food.

According to the legend, there is a place in Alaska called the Headless Valley, and it is passed down through legend as a warning to those who live in Alaska. The natives stated that there was a tribe of giants, and they were to be left alone.

It was not uncommon for other explorers to find decapitated bodies in this particular area. However, many did not listen and went into the woods anyway, and more and more people would go missing. Now it is forbidden to enter the Headless Valley.

The discovery of giant skeletons

During the Alaskan gold rush near Atlin, a discovery was made, and it was only recently discovered by researcher Jonny Enoch. He found a press report from November 18, 1900.

The newspaper had reported that giant skeletons were found in the Atlin area of Alaska. This newspaper also backed up the stories told by the native Americans regarding the giants that lived in the woods.

Prospector James L Perkinson found the skeletons at the Yellow Jacket Mine. He was digging for gold when he discovered five complete sets of skeletons. One of the skeletons was over 7 feet tall, and it was reported that the forearm bones were enormous. Along with the skeletons, they found 3 feet long and five inches thick wooden spears buried with the skeletons.

Evidence that giants did and do exist in Alaska. However, Giant investigator Hugh Newman believes that the scientific community is covering up that there are giants in Alaska, or at least covering up the numbers.

In 1936, a giant skull was found in the Aleutian Islands and was reported to be twice the size of a normal human skull. The skull was found on Kagamil Island by the head of the Smithsonian Institution, Dr. Ales Hrdlicka. It was said this skull would be able to hold the biggest brain ever to exist in the western hemisphere.

However, Dr. Hrdlicha had previously announced that he did not believe in giants, that they did not exist, and that any previous discoveries were hoaxes. According to researcher Hugh Newman, he has proof that the giant skull was registered with the Smithsonian, but he cannot find out what has happened to the giant skull.

Newman stated they have the accession card, which proves that it was discovered and given to the Smithsonian.

In 1940, the military was doing excavation work to build an airstrip on the island of Shemya when they made another discovery of giant bones and skulls. Again, the skulls were two to three times the average human.

This time, there were multiple skulls. However, two military men told Biologist Ivan Sanderson about their discovery this time. Sanderson attempted to trace the skulls and follow up with the letter, but all traces of the skulls disappeared. The bones were collected and disappeared.

This leaves many wondering if there is a giant coverup of giants and if there is a reason they do not want the public to know that they exist. Cryptologist Dr. Lance Hightower has been studying this theory for years and states just because we haven't seen them, it doesn't mean they don't exist.

What do you think? Do you believe the Smithsonian would hide evidence, or is it another crazy conspiracy theory?
