Firoz on the Path of Light.
The glitz and glamour of worldly pleasures captivated young Firoz. He didn't think that prayer, the Qur'an, or the teachings of Islam were important. His life, however, was altered by a single incident. This story, which is about that transformation, focuses on the awakening and return to the light.
The glitz and glamour of worldly pleasures captivated young Firoz. He didn't think that prayer, the Qur'an, or the teachings of Islam were important. His life, however, was altered by a single incident. This story, which is about that transformation, focuses on the awakening and return to the light. First Chapter: Betrayed by the World Firoz was 25 years old and lived in a wealthy Dhaka neighborhood. He had everything: a corporate job, a fancy car, designer clothes. He spent his days at parties with friends, taking selfies, and using social media. His mother would often say, “Son, at least try praying once.”
Firoz would chuckle, “Ma, who does that in this day and age?”
However, his mother's eyes showed a hint of sadness. She was aware that the world was bringing Firoz to a place where there was no lasting peace. A Night of Change, Chapter 2 After a party, Firoz was driving home one night when a truck suddenly swerved in front of him. A severe accident followed, and his car was totaled.
He saw himself lying in a hospital bed when he opened his eyes. His right leg was broken, stitches on his head, and his body weakened. He was shaken to the core. But when he saw his mother sitting beside him, silent and tearful, something stirred in his heart.

"Ma, what if I had passed away?" One night, Firoz whispered. “Allah gave you another chance,” his mother softly replied. Think about the reason.
A Light Touch Back home, Firoz sat in his wheelchair, passing time aimlessly. Rahim Bhai, their housekeeper, gave him a small Qur'an one day. He said, "Brother, if you want, read a little." Firoz was irritated at first. But just to pass time, he began reading the translated meanings. Every day, one verse, and every other day, another. He started to feel the words of the Qur'an in his heart over time. According to Surah At-Talaq, verse 3, "And whoever puts his trust in Allah—He will be enough for him." This one verse pierced through his heart. Despite having everything in life, the peace he had been searching for was hidden in this divine message.
The First Prayer
With trembling hands and tearful eyes, Firoz performed ablution one night while sitting in his wheelchair and offered his first prayer in years. "Oh Allah, I don't know how to pray right, but I know You are there, even though I don't know how. I ask for your pardon. Everything changed at that instant. Bit by bit, he began to learn. He watched YouTube tutorials, asked his mother, read the Qur’an—step by step, he started walking the path of faith.
The Real Meaning of Life
Six months later, Firoz learned to walk again. He went back to work, but he wasn't the same person as before. He now began his mornings with the Fajr prayer, and his days were evenly split between work and thinking of Allah. He started assisting other people, including friends who had lost their way. He hung a large verse on the wall of his room: “The life of this world is nothing but play and amusement, but the home of the Hereafter is the real life.” — (Surah Al-An’am: 32)

Firoz now knew—life isn’t just about wealth and success. The true essence of life is inner peace, which can only be obtained by following Allah's instructions. The Lesson to Be Learned: Trials are not always punishments—they are often a mercy in disguise.
When Allah wishes to guide someone, it takes only a moment.
The true sources of strength in life are prayer, the Quran, and repentance.
