Anne Frank's quotes and thoughs
My personal thoughs about Anne

The topic is thorny given the current times, but I am here to remember that Anne (and other Jews) was a girl proud of being Jewish and persecuted for it. She was finally killed for it. She was deprived of a future because of this.
I don't want political questions about the situation with Israel. Any comments regarding this will be removed.
Everyone warned, everyone happy.

Anne Frank, born in Frankfurt on June 12, 1929, was the second daughter of Otto Heinrich Frank and Edith (Holländer) Frank. Her older sister was called Margot Betti Frank and she was also born in Frankfurt on 16 February 1926.
They lived in Frankfurt until 1933, when they were forced to flee to Amsterdam.
For as long as possible, the parents tried to make their daughters live a carefree childhood. They succeeded, until 1940, when the Nazis occupied the country that had welcomed them.
As rapid and terrible as the fall into an abyss is, the anti-Semitic laws, which prohibited the Jews from doing anything, were only the beginning of the hell that awaited them.
Margot and Anne were forced to attend a Jewish school, but despite this and all the prohibitions they had to respect, in addition to the constant fear, they were able to live an almost normal adolescent life for a while, thanks to their parents who kept them away from painful discussions about politics and the problems facing the Jews.
On her thirteenth birthday, June 12, 1942, among her various gifts, Anne received a diary.
A lover of reading and writing (also thanks to the education of her parents, who had always directed their daughters to a life full of cultural stimuli), for the little girl it was her most precious gift. She finally had someone to confide in, a friend who would never reveal her secrets to anyone, dear Kitty.
The situation worsened in July 1942, when her sister Margot received a letter forcing her to go to "work camps" in Germany. At that point her father could no longer postpone the inevitable and therefore decide to go underground.
On 6 July 1942 the family hid in the Secret Annex, a hidden apartment in the company where Otto Frank worked (he had previously given the company to a non-Jewish collaborator).
What should have been just a few weeks became more than two years of life confined in a house where there were strict rules to avoid detection.
Who has inflicted this upon us? Who has made us Jews different from all other people? Who has allowed us to suffer so terribly up till now? It is God that has made us as we are, but it will be God, too, who will raise us up again. If we bear all this suffering and if there are still Jews left, when it is over, then Jews, instead of being doomed, will be held up as an example. Who knows, it might even be our religion from which the world and all peoples learn good, and for that reason and that reason alone do we have to suffer now. We can never become just Netherlanders, or just English, or representatives of any country for that matter; we will always remain Jews, but we want to, too.
Writing in a diary is a really strange experience for someone like me. Not only because I’ve never written anything before, but also because it seems to me that later on neither I nor anyone else will be interested in the musings of a thirteen-year-old schoolgirl.
By Anne Frank

Anne was unsure about here feelings and about how much others could be interested in real herself. She in future will talk about the existence of two Annes. Two sides. The chit-chatting one, impulsive and hyperactive, and the romantic, needed of love and sensitivity one.
Anne was a brave soul. But with also some weak points. And those makes her really special. Because she was a girl with strong soul but also sweet heart. She needed love and care. She searched them in her parents, expecially Pim, her father Otto Frank, but she closed herself when she went hiding in the Secret Annex. Then she found Peter Van Pels, a kind boy needs of love and understanding like her. This was love? In her opinion not, and also mine too. It was kindness and friendship between two teenagers lonely and deep soul.
