Behind closed doors, Aurangzeb whispered the truth the world never heard — a salute to the true lions of India.

Chaava this movie is about the life of Dharam Veer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Where it is told how Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj fought a war with Aurangzeb and his army, and finally, Aurangzeb captured him by deceit and what happened to him after that.

Today, in this topic, I would like to talk about those scenes where, first of all, Aurangzeb himself praises Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and then Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

At the very beginning of the movie, we are told about the Maratha Empire, and we are told about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj through Ajey Devgan's voice-over.

The movie starts directly from Aurangzeb's court, where he is sitting on the Peacock Throne, which was built by Shahjahan; it is said that its cost was more than the entire Taj Mahal, so to be precise, this throne was built twice the cost of the Taj Mahal.

It is shown in the movie that one of Aurangzeb's ministers brings him the news that Maratha Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has died. When Aurangzeb hears this news, the first thing he does is pray to Allah and say to keep the doors of heaven open; the lion is coming.

But the thing to be seen here was that when he was saying this, his head was bowed down, and he was saying this in a very low voice because he did not want to show anyone, i.e., all the ministers present there, that he was secretly praising Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

And he knew what Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was like, he considered him a lion.

After this, at the end of the film, when Muqarrar Khan's army of five thousand attacks Sambhaji Maharaj's army of 150 people and presents them in front of Aurangzeb, there is also a special scene added by the makers that deviates from actual history.

The image used is a screenshot from the official "Chaava" movie trailer, owned by Maddock Films.

After torching Sambhaji Maharaj and before cutting his tongue, Aurangzeb himself goes to meet him.

Aurangzeb tells Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj to come to our side and accept Islam and we will spare you. In response to this, Sambhaji Maharaj tells Aurang that you should come to the side of Marathas so that the Maratha Empire will spare you and for doing this, no one will ask you to change your religion.

Now at this point, it is not mentioned anywhere in the historical records that such a conversation took place between the two.

Dennis Kincaid says in his novel Shivaji The Great Rebel that Aurangzeb had asked Sambhaji Maharaj to convert to Islam, but in reply to this, Sambhaji Maharaj had told Aurang that even if he offered his daughter as a bribe, he would never convert to Islam.

Only after this Sambhaji Maharaj's tongue was cut, and orders were given to execute him, and the deviation from the actual history is that before every torcher, Aurang had asked Sambhaji Maharaj to accept Islam.

In the film, it is shown that Aurang had asked Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj to convert to Islam only once.

Aurangzeb wanted that if he converted Maratha Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj to Islam, then it would be easy to convert the entire Maratha empire to Islam. This was his real intention because, with this trick, he would destroy the roots of the Maratha empire.

But Dharamveer Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj knew this very well, and that is why he never accepted Islam and became an example for all Marathas, due to which later on, Marathas defeated the Mughal Sultanate and fulfilled the dream of Swaraj.

Hearing this Aurangzeb was completely shattered and further said that if even one of his children was like Sambhaji Maharaj, then he would have ruled not only the whole India, but the whole world.

Aurang wanted Sambhaji Maharaj to scream but it never happened.

Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj went away celebrating his death and Aurang never understood the real meaning of life.

After this Aurangzeb never went from Deccan to Delhi. When he became very old, then he realized that he had completely wasted his life and maybe Allah does not consider him worthy of forgiveness now.
