Why Front Man didn't kill Player 456?
Why the Front Man Played as Player 001 in Squid Game Season 2

So Season 2 of Squid Game has finally arrived. Although Season 2 was not as gripping as Season 1, this season, we got to know many things related to the game.
Apart from this, we also got to know the backstory of Front Man and I am sure you will have many questions in your mind about him why does the Front Man let Gi-hun participate in this game when he knew very well that Gi-hun wanted to stop this game, he also participates in this game as player 001, why does he support Gi-hun and why does he leave Gi-hun alive in the end?
Today we will know the answers to all these questions, so stay connected.
So the story of Squid Game 2 starts from where Squid Game 1 ended.
Gi-hun puts all his efforts into finding out who is organizing these games and stopping this game. He also finds the Front Man, whom Gi-hun learns about from the salesman.
Seong Gi-hun tries to reach the Front Man and also tries to kill him so that these games stop.
But all his attempts fail, and finally, to stop this game, Gi-hun decides to participate in this game again.
But now the question arises: why does the Front Man allow Gi-hun to participate in the game, and why doesn't he kill him right then when the Front Man knew one thing very well: Gi-hun would stop this game at any cost?
Despite this, the Front Man allows Gi-hun to participate and not only this, the Front Man himself also participates in this game, that too as player 001.
But first of all, the answer to the question is why the Front Man allowed Gi-hun to participate in this game.
The answer to this is that the Front Man knew very well that Gi-hun was in a lot of guilt even after winning this game because whatever money he had won from that game, he had won it due to the death of his friends.
Front Man knew very well that Gi-hun would not leave until he got this game shut down by any means, so I think to stop Gi-hun, Front Man allowed him to participate in the game, and to weaken him further, Front Man himself participated in the game.
This was the reason that during this entire season, Front Man tried to befriend Gi-hun by becoming player 001. He also tells Gi-hun about his past so that he can win his trust and then manipulate Gi-hun later.
Another advantage of bringing Gi-hun back to the game for Front Man was that Gi-hun's presence added another unpredictable element to the game.
Gi-hun's attempt to stop the game added more drama to the game which VIPs must have found even more engaging.
Throughout this season, we get to know a lot about Front Man's past, as we already know that Front Man is actually Detective Jun Ho's elder brother, In-ho. He participated in this game in 2015, and he also won this game.
But in this season, we got to know many more things about Front Man's past, like In-ho was a police officer just like his younger brother Jun Ho. At one time, he saved his younger brother Jun Ho's life by donating one of his kidneys.
But when In-ho's wife was pregnant she got a serious illness due to which she needed a liver transplant.
In-ho did not have enough money to get his wife treated and then one of In-ho's old clients helped him and lent him money.
But when In-ho's superiors came to know about this transaction then, In-ho was accused of taking bribes, and he was dismissed from the job.
After some time, In-ho's wife also died due to that illness, and to pay back the loan he had taken for his wife's treatment, he participated in the Squid Game in 2015. He won the game but instead of returning to his life, he accepted the position of Front Man.
Obviously, Oh Il-Nam, who used to organise this game, had a brain tumour and had also become very old, so he needed someone who could organise this game after him and handle all the work.
In-ho must have won Il-nam's trust and Il-nam must have understood that In-ho will be able to handle this work well in future.
And In-ho handles this task very well.
In-ho himself participates in this game to stop Gi-hun and also befriends him. In-ho also supports Gi-hun when Gi-hun, along with some players, attacks the guards so that he can find the frontman.
Gi-hun tries to reach the control room by attacking the guards as per the plan, but in the end, In-ho fools Gi-hun and kills all his friends and shows Gi-hun that player 001 is also dead.
Because Gi-hun did not know that player 001 was the Front Man.
Finally, In-ho appears in front of Gi-hun in his frontman look and kills his friend Jung-bae in front of his eyes, but he does not kill Gi-hun; he leaves him alive.
Now, the most important question here is why does the Front Man leave Gi-hun alive? Why did he not kill Gi-hun at this point?
So I think the reason for this could be that the Front Man wanted to give Gi-hun a punishment worse than death.
Now, since Gi-hun attacked the guards with the help of all the players and tried to stop this game, Front Man killed all the players who were with Gi-hun and left only Gi-hun alive so that Gi-hun always lives with the guilt that because of him all the players got killed, meaning not all the ones who were supporting him.
Front Man thought that this would probably be a punishment worse than death for Gi-hun, and then he would never try to go against Front Man again, nor would he try to stop this game.
It is also possible that Front Man left Gi-hun alive so that this game becomes even more engaging because, no doubt, Gi-hun had a lot of courage.
Despite winning the previous game, Gi-hun again participated in this game of death and his presence in this game can make this game very interesting.
And who knows, maybe Front Man wants to use Gi-hun in future games, this could also be a reason.
By the way, what do you think? Tell me in the comments why Front Man leaves Gi-hun alive.
