When Life Gives You Tangerines review

A new K-drama has come on Netflix named When Life Gives You Tangerines, I have seen it and after watching it I will say this K-drama is going to be a blast like last year Queen of Tears created a storm, as far as I have seen its material till now, I feel that this K-drama will also create a ruckus this year.

Lots of reels, lots of shorts, and lots of meme material are going to be made.

Well, the main question is actually how powerful its content is, whether you should watch it or not and also which audience it is targeting because let me tell you one thing here: it is not for everyone.

Let's dissect it completely.

To finish this K-drama, you have to watch several 16 episodes; only four have come so far, i.e. Volume 1.

Volume 2,3,4 will be available for you every Friday in four sets each.

So, roughly, you will get to watch its final episode by the end of this month.

It has come in Hindi dubbing. Hindi dubbing is too good, especially the dialogues of actors and actresses. Listen to it by turning off the subtitles because there is a difference between Delhi and Mumbai in the translation, but the dialogues are good and will hit you.

Well, you can watch it with your family, but yes, you will get to see kisses etc., that too normal ones.

Talking about the four episodes, to be honest, I enjoyed watching them. I will not hype you up too much about it, but yes, if you are interested in seeing a slice of life, that is, a person's life from childhood to old age, meaning his journey, his decisions, his choices and what is their impact in life, if you like this concept, like, suppose you propose a girl and she rejects you, then you will live a different life, but what if the same girl accepts you, then definitely you will have a different timeline.

So yes, this K-drama explores this theme in front of you where you will get to see the story of actors-actresses who have been in love with each other since childhood.

Even though the influence of the boy is more in this love story as compared to the girl, yes, some conditions in their life are such that they are living with each other and taking care of each other.

When both of them are young, a question comes between them whether you love me or I love you, the impact of this decision which comes out in their lives means whether will they ever be able to live with each other, if they are not able to live then what will happen in their life and if they can live then what journeys, what adventures, where will they go, how will they do, to know all this you will have to watch this K-drama.

I am not commenting on the story in much depth because only four episodes have been released and I don't want your enjoyment to be spoiled because of me.

But if I talk about the things that I liked in these four episodes:

Firstly, the presentation of the K-drama is very smooth, even though its story does not present anything extraordinary to you, but yes, still, this K-drama engages you from the very first episode, and the tear-jerking journey that it presents to you makes your heart blossom.

The feel-good feeling that is given in this, the cinematography or the locations, the environment, everything is awesome.

The performance is too good, whether it is IU or Park Bo-gum's character; both have made their characters shine a lot. You will get so involved with their journey that you will feel like you are a part of it.

Also, the sound design is awesome, which means the intro card that you get to hear is a hit; even if you don't understand it, you will still connect with its smoothness.

The rest of the series has comedy and situations of life; there is a lot of drama and a love story, so the mixup of all the things that this series is showing you is quite good. You enjoy the things of the series, it doesn't bore you anywhere.

This Kdrama will especially connect well with those audiences who are Hindi dubbed audience, meaning those who have not yet seen many K-dramas made on such themes because they are not available in Hindi dubbed.

There, the Hindi dubbed K-drama audience will like its things a lot because they might not have explored such themes much till now, but the non-Hindi dubbed audience, meaning those who have seen such themes like a slice of life or such themes many times in different K-dramas in the original language.

For example, Mr. Sunshine, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha If you have seen such things, then you might find the story a bit dull.

One thing I would personally like to impose my opinion on you is whether this story deserves 16 hours, I mean it is a normal story and they are probably going to stretch it too much and show it, so yes, that can be a bit of a lagging point of this K-drama until the makers suddenly fill it with twists and turns. Well, that is my fear. Let's see what happens in the future.

But for now, I would highly recommend that if you have not seen many slice-of-life, melodramatic things, love stories or romantic comedy dramas and you want to enjoy such a journey that hits your heart, the journey of the couples that you are getting to see will make you emotional and even bring tears from your eyes, then definitely I would recommend you that this K-drama seems to be a very good one right now.

Let's cross our fingers that it will not disappoint in the future.

So I would recommend you to start watching it. This K-drama can give you a lot of fun in the coming time, and in case if you want to wait until all its episodes come, then after finishing it, I will give you a detailed review, and in that, we will talk a little more in-depth.

So the picture is not completely clear right now, so what can I tell you after watching the teaser?

Well, if you have also watched four episodes of this series like me, what is your opinion about it? What are your views on how this Kdrama will perform in the future? Whose acting did you like and whose acting was bad?

Okay, I bid you goodbye. Take care of yourself, stay happy, keep sharing happiness. Don't keep hate for anyone in your heart. What you should have in your mind are good thoughts and good things. Overall, you should have more positivity than negativity.
