Crazxy movie ending explained: Why Vedika had to prove herself

So Abhimanyu delivered the money to the location given by the kidnapper, but after going there, Abhi found out that it was all a drama and that this drama was created by his daughter Vedika.

So here a question arises: why did Vedika do this drama? Vedika did this drama to prove herself because Abhimanyu considered his daughter Vedika mentally weak and hated her.
