Sasuke Uchiha leads a very strenuous life of training and great fights, along with personal development in the series "Naruto". One of the most important events of his life is the fight with his brother Itachi Uchiha, which turned his life upside down and changed not just the direction his abilities took but his character as well. Coming out from this iconic battle, Sasuke is stronger; he was now armed with new skills and insights to shape his way as a shinobi. In fact, the only way to find Sasuke's skills after Itachi is to analyze how these have developed and what really occurred between them.

Mastering the Sharingan

Even before his fight against Itachi, Sasuke had already used some of the powers of the Sharingan-special ocular abilities stemming from the Uchiha clan that enhance perception and can even copy techniques. It is in his encounter and afterward, though, that Sasuke realizes the potential of this powerful bloodline ability. Following the fierce battle, Sasuke awakens the Mangekyō Sharingan, an advanced form of the Sharingan.

This evolution gives him new techniques, among which is the usage of Amaterasu, a very strong fire technique that may burn anything the user focuses his eyes on. This ability proves to be a two-edged sword, in that it can inflict massive damage onto opponents while causing much collateral damage to the environment and the user themselves. Getting the Mangekyō Sharingan was a quantum leap in Sasuke's abilities, which finally could stand shoulder to shoulder against such powerful enemies and even allowed changing the tide of the battle to his side.

Enhanced Fighting Abilities

Combat prowess is also greatly developed on Sasuke's part when he finds Itachi. The fight was a severe wake-up call, driving Sasuke to perfect the techniques he has learned so far and invent new ones. He mastered his agility and speed and uses light-speed-based techniques, which soon become the characteristics of Sasuke's fighting style. Among these techniques, Sasuke learns the Chidori, originally used by Kakashi Hatake and further develops it to become the Chidori Sharp Spear and the Lightning Cutter.

All these techniques allow him to commit fatal blows with much precision and speed, and he becomes a deadly enemy on the battlefield. The combination he masters in terms of the lightning technique and an already impressive Sharingan is deadly.

The Influence of Orochimaru

In an attempt to get even stronger after his battle with Itachi, Sasuke approaches Orochimaru, a highly infamous rogue ninja. That became a turning point in his story, as from then on, Orochimaru taught Sasuke forbidden knowledge and jutsu, which greatly increased his abilities. His training with Orochimaru gave him a number of jutsu, including the Summoning Jutsu that allows him to summon various mighty creatures to do his will in combat.

Additionally, in Orochimaru's tutelage, Sasuke learns the right way to control chakra. Control over chakra enables him to perform high-level techniques with ease and also improves stamina while fighting for a long period of time. The training increases his inborn skill and fills him with ruthless determination to outclass Itachi as well as others who stand in his way.

Emotional and Psychological Growth

More than physical strength, Sasuke's fight against Itachi brought a turning point in his emotional and psychological change. The fight confronts Sasuke with emotions of hatred and vengeance that press him to grapple with the complexity of family, sacrifice, and the burdens of power. As much as the desire to revenge at first drives his strength, he begins to realize that true strength is not only in body muscles but also in emotional resilience.

Sasuke's development concluded with his coming to a more rounded view of his powers and what those meant for him. He learned that strength had to be balanced with responsibility through the sacrifice of his brother. This internal modification empowered his skills by making him a more calculated and considerate ninja-not solely relying on brute force but instead guile and acumen.

Sasuke Uchiha finally comes out much stronger and more multidimensional after the fated encounter with his brother Itachi. Mastery of the Mangekyō Sharingan, increased fighting abilities, and influence from Orochimaru generally contribute to a big arsenal of abilities. But it is in emotional and psychological growth that this actually defines his evolution as a shinobi. Sasuke's journey to this point teaches that strength means more than power but instead a self-discovery or coming to realize what an individual's choice brings as an impact. Thus, with the struggles ahead for him, Sasuke proves the balance of vengeance with redemption, portraying a further dimension of the character himself than just a fighter's capabilities.
