WARNING: SPOILERS for eps 1 and 2 of WandaVision.

After a long wait, the MCU is back with WandaVision, their first original series for Disney +. The series follows the characters of Wanda Maximoff and Vision as they slowly discover that their idyllic suburban life is not as it seems.

Wanda and Vision have had a rather tragic history so far in the movies, so fans of the couple have relished the opportunity to see them happy in the new series, at least for a little while. Here are all the cutest moments from episodes 1 and 2 of WandaVision.

Newlyweds

Unfortunately, we never got to see Wanda and Vision marry in the movies. Some fans theorise that Vision was about to propose in Edinburgh before the couple received the news of Tony Stark's disappearance, but this has never been confirmed.

The introduction of WandaVision's first episode gives fans a glimpse of the couple in their Wedding attire as they first arrive in Westview. We also see Vision try, and humorously fail, to carry Wanda over the threshold of their new home. The sequence lets us know exactly what kind of dynamic to expect between the couple in the series.

What does the Heart mean?

The first episode's opening scene mirrors a typical domestic morning mirroring those seen in sitcoms of the 50s. Up until both Wanda and Vision spot a heart on the calendar, and neither one can remember what exactly it represents.

They adorably dance around the subject, each trying to draw the answer out of the other, neither willing to admit they've forgotten. The pair eventually come to the conclusion that it is simply an occasion significant to both of them.

Vision, after discovering the heart was referring to a dinner with his boss, Mr. Hart, and his wife, Vision calls Wanda to impress upon her the importance of the event. He also lets her know how nervous he is. This confuses Wanda, who has come to believe the heart represents their anniversary.

The scene, aside from being both cute and hilarious, reveals that this version of Wanda and Vision have been together for some time, or at least believe that they have.

Wedding Rings

By the end of the episode, Wanda has come to the conclusion that she and Vision are far from being your average married couple. While this should probably be seen as a sign that things aren't quite right in Westview, the show turns it into a sweet moment, with Wanda creating wedding rings for herself and her husband.

Unfortunately, the moment is slightly ruined by the slightly creepy final shot of the episode, zooming out to reveal that someone is watching Wanda and Vision's 'Show'.

The show's second episode begins with our new favourite couple dealing with a troubling noise outside their bedroom window. While Wanda and Vision initially sleep in separate beds, reflecting the 60s era of the episode, Wanda's panic during the scene leads her to push the two beds together with her magic. The troubling noise is simply a tree branch banging on the window, but the pair find that they very much enjoy their new sleeping arrangements.

While the scene would have been deemed much too risque' had it aired in the era the episode was adapting, it was a nice nod to comic fans to confirm that MCU Wanda and Vision can.. ahem.. share intimate relations.

The main plot of WandaVision's second episode centres on the upcoming 'For The Children' talent show, intended to raise money for Westview Elementary School. Vision and Wanda plan to perform a magic act for the show. While Vision worries that their act is too fake, Wanda reminds him that it's supposed to be. They want to appear normal to their neighbours.

Vision immediately backs away from his own concerns about the act, as he wants Wanda to be happy. For Vision, in this world, Wanda is his top priority.

Fixing Vision

Early in episode 2, Vision gets himself into a bit of trouble after he swallows a piece of gum while attending Westview's neighbourhood watch meeting. Vision is not supposed to eat, so the gum interferes with his mechanics, making him behave strangely, almost as if he were drunk.

Vision's behaviour very nearly ruins the magic act, and Wanda's chances of getting in good with Westview's Queen Bee, Dottie. Despite this, after the show, Wanda's only concern is for finding what is wrong with Vision and fixing him. He is her first priority, just as she is his.

At the end of episode 2, Wanda suddenly falls pregnant. While this comes as quite the surprise, she and Vision are both pleased with the news of their impending parenthood.

Even the arrival of the strange, rather creepy beekeeper character doesn't entirely ruin the sweetness of the moment. Vision is seen laying his hand protectively over Wanda's new bump before she rewinds time to prevent the beekeeper's arrival.

Hopefully, Wanda and Vision will get at least a few more happy moments before the illusion of Westview inevitably crumbles.
