Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton Welcome Their Second Baby Together

Tom Hiddleston and Zawe Ashton are parents again!

The Loki actor, 44, and The Marvels actress, 41, have welcomed their second baby together. Hiddleston confirmed the news in a recent interview with GQ.

Hiddleston shared that he and Ashton recently added another little one to their family while reflecting on birth, calling it the "most beautiful, profound, earth-shattering, life-altering" experience.

Ashton also hinted at their baby news with a post on Instagram in November.

"Today, I chose to mark a milestone in postpartum recovery with a trip to one of the @littlevillagehq baby banks, dedicated to supporting families all year round," Ashton wrote in her caption, alongside photos of herself at a local baby bank.

"Throughout my recovery, I have thought deeply about the children in our world facing the most devastating living conditions and those tirelessly working to protect them," she continued. "I’ve reflected deeply on the ongoing war against children, a fight I am fiercely committed to."

Back in June, Ashton and Hiddleston confirmed they were expecting their second baby together. Ashton revealed her pregnancy with an announcement on Vogue.

Following the announcement on June 7, the couple attended the U.K. premiere of Hiddleston’s The Life of Chuck during SXSW London, where Ashton showed off her baby bump on the red carpet.

For the bump reveal, Ashton wore an Emilia Wickstead sky-blue silk crepe gown.

The couple, who met while costarring in the 2019 play Betrayal, welcomed their first baby in October 2022. In June of that year, Ashton revealed she was pregnant, showing off her baby bump at a special screening of her movie Mr. Malcolm's List.

At the time, the actress made her way down the red carpet wearing a bead-embellished tulle gown by Sabina Bilenko Couture, per Vogue, who gave a behind-the-scenes look at her glam session before the event.

A source close to the production of the play later told PEOPLE in March 2022 that Ashton and Hiddleston always had "lovely" chemistry together while working on the project.

"They were very private publicly, but behind the scenes, you could just see a lovely chemistry," the source recalled. "There were twinkles in both of their eyes."
