The Young and the Restless Update: Phyllis reaches out to Aristotle after enlisting Victor's assistance
Ms. Summers is determined to take down Billy at any cost.

Phyllis is up to her old tricks again
Phyllis Summers is like a dog with a bone on The Young and the Restless. She refuses to listen to reason and does whatever she desires, insisting her way is the right way to handle situations. She is now about to get herself into a situation that may not work in her favor. Her mission this time around is to take down Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) because he gave her job to Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Phyllis has already attempted to make a deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), a man she knows is dangerous and whom she does not like. Victor may take her up on her offer or turn her down. She has already given him enough information to use against Billy, so he does not need her. Neither does he desire her assistance.
Spoilers tease that Phyllis will step up her game and reach out to Aristotle Dumas on her own. Y&R fans say they are tired of waiting for this mysterious individual to appear in Genoa City and weary of all the talk about him. Again, I've said and will say that the writers used this same tactic with Ashland Locke ( Richard Bugi/Robert Newman), and fans were disappointed.
Will Aristotle be the man everyone assumes he is?
GC residents talked about Locke for weeks and called him a monster, causing viewers to expect someone more calculating than Victor. Ashland did not live up to his reputation, and viewers were disappointed at how he was taken in by Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and how his life ended.
Billy Flynn will arrive in Genoa City soon, but his character remains unnamed. Mishael Morgan will return to The Young and the Restless as Amanda Sinclair, who has a high-powered client. Fans believe Flynn will be her client and he will portray Aristotle, although this has not been confirmed.

Phyllis may be digging a pit for herself to fall into
No matter who portrays the mysterious Dumas, Phyllis will become entangled with him. One Tuesday, she stole Billy's cell phone and saw Aristotle's number. On Wednesday, she will call him. Could this connection lead to danger, a romantic relationship, or both? Could Ms. Summers get in over her head and be burned by Billy, Victor, and Aristotle? She might find herself landing in the pit she is digging for Billy.
It's been a while since Phyllis has been in love, so when this stranger comes to Genoa City, he might sweep her off her feet. Watch for updates that may reveal Flynn's character and whether he is Aristole Dumas. Keep tuning in to discover how big of a mess Phyllis creates this time and how she can extract herself from the drama.
Will Victor have real competition in Dumas?
Victor might destroy Phyllis and Billy, or Dumas could do the same. Perhaps only Billy will be the one who gets hurt. In the end, Victor may reign supreme while the others pick up the shattered pieces of their lives. Until more is known about this new character and his agenda, fans can only guess what will happen or who will come out unscathed.
Fans say she should have learned a lesson when she faked her death and murdered Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). This taught her nothing, so she is off and running again, and nothing good can come of her deals with two devils, Victor Newman and Aristotle Dumas. The month is halfway over, so if something big is coming for May Sweeps, The Young and the Restless needs to bring it on.
