The Diddy trial began with shocking revelations
Sean Combs faces 15 years to life if convicted of his alleged crimes.

Dennis Phillip testifies against Diddy.
The trial of Sean Combs has begun, and he is facing 15 years to life in prison. The proceedings are expected to last two months, with jurors expected to hear testimony from three and possibly four of the rapper's female accusers. Ex-employees who prosecutors allege assisted in covering up Diddy's actions will also testify.
The proceedings started with a male sex worker, Dennis Phillip, taking the stand. He alleges that Diddy paid him thousands of dollars to engage in sexual acts with the music mogul's then-girlfriend, singer Cassie Ventura. He also claims Diddy sat in a corner and masturbated while watching. The details may be disturbing to some, so keep this in mind.
Phillip detailed his initial encounter at the hotel, alleging that Ventura requested a baby oil massage upon his arrival. He testified that Combs was present in the room during this time, describing the mogul as "clad in a white robe, a baseball cap and a bandana over his face."
Phillip said he recognized Combs through the disguise of his voice and that he was paid numerous times, up to $6,000 each time, to engage in sex with Ventura. He also alleged that Diddy would sometimes give "instructions" to the duo,, sit in a corner and masturbate while watching them or "film" them.
Phillip then recounted another explicit alleged incident, telling jurors that "Ventura even asked him to urinate on her." "Cassie was the one that asked me to urinate on her," Phillip recalled from the stand. "She asked me if I had ever done that before and told me to do it. I was doing it wrong because they both told me."
Phillip details the alleged abuse he witnessed
The arrangement supposedly came to an end after Phillip claimed to have witnessed Combs' violent nature with Cassie.
I thought this was someone with unlimited power," he testified, expressing his fear at the time. "And chances are that, even if I did go to the police, I might still lose my life."
Phillip testified that he "heard Diddy slapping Cassie, who was screaming 'I'm sorry.'" Allegedly, she ran naked out of the room and jumped into Phillip's lap. He claims he questioned her about why she remained in the abusive situation.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys lay out their cases
Potential jurors admitted that they had seen the video of Diddy dragging Cassie through the hotel lobby over and over again. On May 12, prosecutors played the 2016 video for jurors during hearing. The video shows Combs assaulting Ventura in the hallway of a Los Angeles-area hotel. His lawyers had tried to keep this video from being played and were unsuccessful.
Comb's attorneys fired back, saying domestic abuse is not sex trafficking and that Diddy and Venturea's sex life was between two consenting adults.
Prosecutors allege that Diddy lured women into romantic relationships and then forced them to take part in days of drug-fueled sex parties. He then blackmailed them into silence with videos he recorded of the encounters. Nothing has been presented yet regarding the alleged big-name celebrities who were at the Freak-Off parties and may have been complicit in illegal activities.
Diddy's lawyers contend that any activities between consenting adults were not criminal. The defense hopes to prove Diddy was abusive and forced certain activities on his alleged victims. Sean Combs, 55, has pleaded not guilty to charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
