'The Young and the Restless' rumor mill says Hunter King is out
These claims are unsubstantiated but the current storyline is adding fuel to the fire.

There have been no credible sources for THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS to confirm that Hunter King will be leaving the CBS soap. The rumor mill and spoilers for this week are suggesting that her character Summer will indeed leave Genoa City. Let's take a look at the facts as we know them. Skyle proclaimed their love for one another and Kyle divorced Lola who has now left town. Kyle and Summer should have been planning their wedding and enjoying their time together but Theo interfered.
Out of the blue he tells Sally Spectra that his cousin had an affair 3 years ago with a married woman, Tara Locke and fathered a child with her. Sally used the information as blackmail so Kyle and Summer would not reveal her deep dark secrets to Jack and Lauren. Kyle contacted Tara who admitted the child was his but wanted to go on with her life being married to Ashland. Soon the Lockes show up in Genoa City and a paternity test confirms that Kyle is the baby daddy.
Sally Spectra convinces Tara to fight for Kyle so that Harrison.s parents can be together. Tara threatens to leave town with her son Harrison and says Kyle will never see him again unless Summer takes a job abroad and leaves Genoa City. Summer was feisty and in fight mode when she wanted to get Kyle back from Lola but now she is looking and acting like a scared rabbit. She does not desire to do anything to keep Kyle from his son and spoilers say this week Summer will upset Lauren.
It sounds like Ms. Newman is going to take the job and bow out gracefully from Kyle's life. This is not the Summer Newman that viewers have come to know and love and many who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS are angry. Viewers are wondering why Summer is a shell of her former self and allowing Ashland Locke's wife and Sally Spectra to control her. The consensus is that Hunter King must leave the CBS soap to work on a pilot but may return at a later date. If this is true, her character could have been recast until her return.

This is all speculation but fans are curious as to why THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS is trying to blow up Skyle instead of allowing them to get married? Viewers who love the couple thought that they would marry and later announce they were having a baby. This twist with Tara and Harrison has changed everything. Some viewers are holding out hope that the paternity test that Ashland asked for might prove that Harrison belongs to Ashland.
Many of those who watch THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS are saying they do not like the way Sally, Tara, and Ashland came to town and are taking over. Now there is the issue with Ashland allegedly dying of cancer which has fans wondering what the outcome will be with the child he raised. If Hunter King is leaving Y&R there is no one who wants to see Kyle become a family with his son and his baby mama because Tara has proven herself to be such a nasty person.

It's possible that Summer stuns Lauren with a different revelation that has nothing to do with her job offer. Hunter King's contract is not up until later in the year so Skyle fans have at least that long to hope their favorite couple can work things out. Tara and Sally's plots could be exposed but there is still the matter of Harrison. Even if Kyle kicks Tara to the curb he would never try to remove her from her son's life which means she will be sticking around Genoa City.
If the little boy belongs to Ashland what will happen to him if Ash dies and Kyle has distanced himself from Tara? Should Summer leave and Tara trick Kyle into bed the relationship will not work because it's built on liesTar's house of cards will come tumbling down, hopefully, sooner rather than lagter. There seem to be some missing links to this story that no one as of yet has supplied so stay tuned and find out how all of this works together. Be on the lookout for spoilers and updates to give the latest details where Hunter King is concerned.
