The Kashmir Files Full Story Explained | The Painful Truth of 1990
Today I have brought a detailed explanation of a film of 2022 which is not just a story but a document based on a painful reality - The Kashmir Files.

The story begins on 19 January 1954 when two children, Raghav and Arif, are playing cricket with their friends in Kashmir. Raghav plays well and starts taking the name of a famous player, but some people present there get angry and say that this is Pakistan, not India; such names are not accepted here.
Then they start beating Raghav but his friend Arif somehow saves him and runs away from there. From here we understand that there is no religion in true friendship.
Then we reach the time of 1990 when Kashmiri Pandits were being forcibly evicted from their homes.

At that time, this terror was being led by a man named Imran, whom people call Hammer. He gathers people and gives a speech that now it will be their rule here.
There, a woman is taking her sick daughter to the doctor. On the way, a policeman stops her and warns her that there is danger ahead. Then a terrorist comes and shoots the policeman.
Then the terrorist tells the woman that he will get her daughter married to his brother. Hearing this, the woman spits on his face and as a result, the terrorist kills the woman right there in anger.
His daughter gets scared seeing this and starts crying.
After this, we see an old Pandit, Pushkar Nath Ji, who is looking for his grandson, Raghav. Later he meets Raghav and Arif. All three are returning home together when a police jeep comes, and they say let's go with us as the situation is bad but on the way, the jeep explodes.
Meanwhile, Imran and his companions enter Pushkar Nath Ji's house and start looking for Raghav's father. He hid inside a drum out of fear but Imran gets the news and shoots him in the drum itself.
Raghav's mother, Sharda, sees all this with her own eyes, and then Imran threatens Sharda that if she eats the rice stained with her husband's blood, then he will leave her and her children alive.
After this, the story comes in the present timeline where Pushkar Nath Ji's younger grandson Krishna comes from Delhi to Kashmir. He has brought his grandfather's ashes because he has died.
There, Krishna meets Brahma Dutt, who is still living in Kashmir. Slowly, Pushkar Nath Ji's old friends also come there, like Dr. Mahesh Kumar, a police officer and a reporter.
But Krishna does not know how his parents died. He only knows that they were killed in an accident.
After this, the scene is of Delhi University where Krishna is listening to the lecture of Professor Radhika Ji. She is instigating the students that Kashmir needs freedom from India and says that the government is oppressing Kashmiris. She even says that there was no massacre in 1990.
Krishna slowly starts believing in the words of Radhika Ji and takes part in the university elections. Radhika Ji starts using him according to her wishes.
Then, in a flashback, we see the scene of 1999 where Pushkar Nath Ji meets Brahma Dutt; he says that his son is in danger because people think he is a police informer. Brahma Dutt says that he will do something.
One day Brahma and he go to buy vegetables, where the vegetable seller starts giving them Pakistani currency. Pushkar Nath Ji gets angry and Brahma Dutt sends the vegetable seller to jail.
After this Brahma Dutt goes to meet the Chief Minister so that he can talk about the safety of the Pandits, but the Chief Minister blames him.
Now we see that the Chief Minister himself is in cahoots with the terrorist Imran who is called Bitta Karate.
The scene changes, and we come back to the present, where Brahma Dutt's wife is showing Krishna the picture of his parents. Krishna had never seen his parents because when people fled from Kashmir, it was not possible to take anything with them.
When Brahma Dutt talks about the 1990 massacre, Krishna says that nothing like that has happened. He says that not five lakhs but only two lakh Pandits had left Kashmir and those who harmed them were also from the army. He says that if we tie a child to a car and drag him, then why should we call the rest terrorists? This thought pushes him towards terrorism.
Hearing all this, Brahma Dutt gets angry and takes Krishna to show the truth of the old times. There it is shown that when Sharda is asked to eat rice stained with her husband's blood, she eats it under compulsion so that her children can be saved.
After this, Imran leaves from there, and then Pushkar Nath Ji calls Brahma and tells him that his son has been murdered. He says that when this happens in the whole country, you will also be considered a part of it.
After this Pushkar Nath leaves Kashmir with his remaining family in a truck. They started living in a tent where many other families had reached with the help of the army. They had neither food nor water. The army helped them a little and people were living only in the hope that one day they would go back to their home.
Slowly Pushkar Nath Pandit's eyesight starts to diminish.
One day, Brahma Dutt comes there, who has now become the advisor of the home minister. The home minister also comes with him, and people tell him their problems.
Pushkar Nath brings a poster and demands the removal of Article 370. Brahma gets sad after seeing it because Pushkar Nath Ji is no longer the same as before. He had become weak and was not even able to recognize Brahma Dutt.
Brahma Dutt promises Pushkar Nath Ji's family that he will get them a house and a job. Then they started living in the same house but the conditions there were not good either.

On the other hand, Imran is now giving interviews on TV channels where he says that he killed 2,025 people because he is a freedom fighter.
Seeing all this, obviously, Pushkar Nath Ji feels very sad, and he says that now this person has reached the media and will soon reach the PM as well.
After some time, Pushkar Nath Ji's health deteriorates, and before dying, he tells Krishna that his ashes should be immersed in his old house.
Then the story again comes to the present. Brahma Dutt makes Krishna aware of all the truths. Krishna now understands that Professor Radhika was lying to him.
Radhika even told Krishna that he must meet Imran.
The next day, Pushkar Nath Ji's old friends take Krishna to his old house where a terrorist flag was hoisted in place of the temple. They remove it and Krishna immerses his grandfather's ashes there.
After this, Krishna meets a person, who turns out to be his brother Raghav's childhood friend Arif. During their conversation, Arif tells the whole truth and Krishna records his conversation. Arif says that his family was never against victims and Raghav was his very good friend.
When Krishna meets terrorist Imran Bitta Karate, he says that he did not kill anyone. According to him, Kashmiri Pandits were leaving Kashmir out of fear and those who were harming them were actually army men.
Imran compares himself to Bhagat Singh and Gandhi. Hearing this, Krishna's friend Pranav gets convinced by his words and starts arguing with Brahma Dutt.
When Brahma Dutt feels that enough is enough, he puts three files in front of Krishna. When Krishna reads them, he finds out that Imran had killed his brother Shiv and mother Sharda. Krishna is heartbroken knowing this.
Then he goes back to his college where Professor Radhika Ji is trying to mislead the children by singing a song. She tells Krishna that he is going to become the president so he should give a speech.
Now it was time to tell everyone the truth. Krishna takes the mic and starts speaking in front of everyone. Thousands of years ago, Arshi Kashyap came to Kashmir and this state was named after him. Gradually, many scholars, pundits and saints reached there and they made Kashmir the land of knowledge.
Then Krishna tells how some people who had come there on the pretext of taking refuge later started attacking Kashmiri Pandits. They not only killed the Pandits but also killed those Muslims who raised their voice against them. Slowly, the Pandits became a minority there, and lakhs had to run away to save their lives.
Krishna says that today, we have the power to return to our homes again; now, no one can stop us. He further says that leaders only know how to make people fight in the name of Hindus and Muslims. No one talks about real issues like poverty, unemployment and our innocent people fighting among themselves.
After this Krishna tells the story of his mother Sharda and his brother Shiv.
Then we see how terrorists wearing army dresses attacked their house, raped Sharda and then killed everyone, and the story ends here.

This was a painful truth which Krishna had now revealed to everyone.
