The Gio revelation fallout continues on Geneal Hospital

Gio has questions

General Hospital viewers will be in for additional drama with Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Maza) on Wednesday. Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampragna) will clarify that he did not know Brook Lynn Chase (Amanda Setton) was pregnant.

This should ease Gio's mind because he believes his parents did not want him and gave him away. Even though his birth mom did not know he was her son, Gio will have questions for Brook Lynn and Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) about why he was put up for adoption and lied to all of his life.

Did Sonny, Dante, or Brook Lynn ever notice a resemblance?

Lois and Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) decided to keep Gio hidden in plain sight. They loved and doted on him while Brook Lynn and Dante spent time with a young Gio and were unaware of the truth.

It's amazing that no one ever noticed a resemblance to Gio's parents or his grandfather, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), for 22 years. Brook Lynn should have sensed something, but she had no idea her mother had reneged on the promise of a closed adoption.

Gio is in so much pain that he may reject everyone except Sonny and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). Tracy welcomed him with open arms, showed him a picture of his great-great-grandparents Edward and Lila Quartermaine (John Ingle and Anna Lee), and told Gio everything in the home belonged to him. He is so overwhelmed that he cannot process the full magnitude of being a member of the Q clan.

Chase makes a confession

Meanwhile, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will confess everything he knew, on Wednesday. He knew Brook Lynn had a son with Dante, but did not realize it was Gio until recently.

It was not his story to tell, but his role may cause tension between the two members of the PCPD. Dante will ask Brook Lynn if she ever would’ve told him the truth if the current situation had not forced her hand.

Brook Lynn thought it was best to leave the past behind, but now realizes she was wrong. How could Gio ever forgive his birth mother and grandmother for making such a decision?

The Q mansion is filled with secrets

Will Tracy convince him to remain in the Q mansion, or will he decide to live with "Uncle" Grandpa Sonny? There will be a lot of tension in the home for a long time, and in addition, there is the drama of Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) and his custody fight for his children.

Sasha Gilmore (Sophia Mattson) is about to give birth to Michael's child, but everyone believes Jason Quartermaine Morgan (Steve Burton) is the father. There has not been this much drama at once with the Port Charles family in the history of General Hospital.

It would be nice if they recast the role of Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) with Patty McCormick or Holly Kaplan, who were past recasts. This would really add to the dynamic.

Meanwhile, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will jump on Lois for hiding their grandson for over two decades.

Lois and Olivia were best friends, yet the secret was not revealed. Olivia will argue that she would have handled the Gio situation differently, but Lois pointed out that Olivia can’t say that until she’s in the same position.

They are forgetting that Olivia kept a similar secret, and Dante did not learn Sonny was his father until he was an adult. Perhaps he can share this with his son in an attempt to smooth things over. Be sure you tune in to General Hospital to learn what happens next.
