The Frog Netflix Review: A Long and Tiring Journey!

When I started watching this show, I expected more from it. The story isn’t anything special or new, but it could have been really interesting if done well. Sadly, the way it was made just didn’t live up to that potential.

The Frog Netflix Review

Fans of Korean shows are excited for every upcoming Korean show. Moreover, if that show is coming in their national language then the excitement completely doubles, that is why the excitement for Netflix's new show The Frog was at its peak.

Now, this show was somewhat long, so I thought I'd take some time to watch it and then review it. I've finally finished the show, and what's my take on it? Let's find out.

Well The Frog, you get to see the story of a mysterious woman who reaches a place for her vacation and never leaves that place. Now what is the overall motive of this woman, what does she want, if you want to know then watch this show which is available on Netflix and has a total of eight episodes, the length of each episode is around 50 to 55 minutes and this show is also available in Hindi version.

The Frog Series Review

Now if I have come to the review of this show then I expected better from this show. See, the story of this show is not extraordinary or out of the box, but it would have made a very interesting show based on this story if its execution had been done in a good manner.

Sorry to say, it was not what was expected, especially in its first half.

The first half is so lengthy, so long and so boring that half the audience will either run away or stop the show in the first half itself.

Whatever thrilling moments are there in the second half and the good thing is that this is a limited show, so the story has been completely wrapped up within the first season itself, you will not have to wait for season 2, so this was a very good thing. To reach the second half you have to endure the boring first half.

The first half is long and long only, where your interest is not piqued, where thrilling moments have no address, and the scenes just keep on going and just keep on going.

New characters are introduced every few minutes and there is hardly any attachment to those characters.

Often we have seen that all the Bollywood movies are inspired by Korean movies, but seeing the twist of this show reminded me of our Bollywood movies.

So, it is not that something very extraordinary has been presented, this show should have dragged on and ended in six episodes, but by dragging it at double speed, it has made it eight episodes long and to be honest, these eight episodes seem very long.

The production value of the show is good, the BGM is also good, and the actors have also done a good job.

But all in all the show did not live up to its expectations. In terms of parental guidance, there is no nude scene or vulgarity in the show, but you will get to see some kissing scenes.

Hindi dubbing is good
