The Bold and the Beautiful: How and why Sheila could return
Kimberlin Brown's evil character is on her way out but she could turn up again.

Kimberlin Brown receives a second Daytime Emmy nomination
The devious and psychotic Sheila Carter, ( Kimberlin Brown) on The Bold and the Beautiful recently led her portrayer to receive her second-ever Daytime Emmy nomination. Brown received the honor in the category of Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Daytime Drama Series: Actress. In 1993 Brown was nominated for portraying the same character on “The Young and the Restless.” Sheila has seemingly wrapped up another chapter on the CBS soap but is it really over?
One could almost feel a bit sympathetic towards her plight because she was treated badly by Steffy Forrester (Jackie Wood) at every turn. Sheila has been blaming her daughter-in-law for pushing her in pulling out the gun and her son jumping in front of her and taking the bullet. She made a full confession of her crime and was unaware that Lt. Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) was listening from inside a closet.
After Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) said she should be in a mental health facility or jail Shelia tried to run. She was shocked to find a police officer at the front door and ran to the back door where another law enforcement official blocked her exit. When Baker emerged from the closet she really was rattled.
Sheila makes an ominous vow
On Monday's episode of The Bold and the Beautiful Sheila gave a dire warning as she was led away in handcuffs by vowing to return for revenge but is it possible? She said it wasn't over and that she would come back for Hayes Finnegan but how can she? Ms. Carter outdid herself this time by shooting and injuring Steffy and killing her son John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).
She confessed to her crimes in front of several witnesses and the police lieutenant so the case against her should be airtight. Sheila keeps saying she pulled the gun because Steffy kept coming at her and Finn jumped in the way. so she might use this as her defense. A good lawyer might even get her off. Sheila could always break out of prison or be sent to a facility for the criminally insane and escape.
The future for Sheila is uncertain
It would make sense for Steffy's mother-in-law to be heavily guarded, prosecuted, locked up and the key thrown away. Ridge Forrester ( Thorsten Kaye) believes this is what will happen but is it that simplr Everything depends on the vision the writers have for the character. Logically there should be no coming back from this tragedy but The Bold and the Beautiful writers might decide to be creative.
Sheila could break out of police custody and leave town or she could kidnap her grandson. There could be an altercation where Shelia is killed by Steffy or the police but that probably will not happen. Brown always brings it when Sheila turns up and The Bold and the Beautiful and fans love to hate her. Right now it seems impossible that there will be a reason to bring Sheila back or a method to have her interact with the Forresters and Logans again.
As of this writing, B&B has not made any statements regarding Kimberlin Brown and her status on the soap. Fans are divided in their opinions as to whether or not she will return. Congratulations to the actress on her second Daytime Emmy nomination and best of luck wherever her future leads. Be on the lookout for spoilers and updates related to what comes next for Sheila Carter and her portrayer on the CBS soap. Most viewers believe what said to be true and that she will return.
