Fans of The Bold and The Beautiful are eager to see Wyatt Spencer (Darrin Brooks) and Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) back on the screen. it was announced at the end of 2022 that each of them was working on other projects and you can read the details in the following link.

The Bold and the Beautiful fans are skeptical

Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful have been discussing the situation on social media and some are concerned that Bowden and Brooks might not return to the show. Executive producer Brad Bell seems to have a system of leaving popular characters off-canvas for a long time and viewers say they don't like it.

The ire of the fans is aimed at the writers and the characters who seem to be currently dominating the screen but not at the actors themselves. Those who watch the CBS soap say they are tired of Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and wish other long-time B&B cast members would be utilized more.

B&B viewers want less of Paris and Carter and the Forrester/Logan war

There was a time when viewers were demanding that Saint-Victor get more air time but they do not like what the writers have done to his character. The affair with Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer) was too much for many viewers and now he is sleeping with Zende Forrester's (De Lon de Metz) girlfriend. B&B viewers are saying they want to see Wyatt and Flo front and center instead of the same characters every day.

Fans are also tired of the love triangles and family battle between the Forresters and Logans and want Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and Deacon Sharpe to be long gone. The other three remaining daytime dramas make use of all of their contract characters but The Bold and the Beautiful routinely has fan favorites off-screen for months at a time.

B&B fans want Wyatt and Flo to tie the knot

Prior to their exit Wyatt and Flo were not in any front burner storylines but stood on the sidelines of the drama with their parents. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), have been getting a lot of screen time as have Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jackie Wood) and viewers say it's time to bring back Wyatt and Flo as an alternative.

Some fans have been saying that it's time for this couple to tie the knot. Flo and Wyatt were high school sweethearts who reconnected but their relationship is going nowhere. Neither Brooks nor Bowden have any updates on their social media profiles so all their followers have is Brad Bell's word that they will be back.

Watt and Flo are not the only characters who are MIA

Neither Quinn nor her BFF Shauna Fuller is involved in any storylines at this time and Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Justin Barber (Aaron D Spears) have not been front and center in a long time. Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful would like to see all the characters be utilized as they are on Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, and The Young and the Restless.

Viewers believe that Bell focuses on a few characters at a time as a money saving tactic although this has not been confirmed. Fans become bored when the same faces show up on the screen day after day and other characters are gone for several months. Be on the lookout for updates related to Darrin Brooks and Katrina Bowden related to their B&B characters as well as their other projects.
