My Top 6 Hulu Binges
Netflix is virtually synonymous with "streaming service," but it is by no means not the only one out there. I don't even have Netflix, but I do have Hulu. For $7.99/mo you can watch with limited commercials (between 0 and 4 per break, depending on the popularity of the show) or $11.99/mo for no commercials. (You can also add on HBO or Showtime packages.) I like Hulu better than Netflix for watching TV shows because I can watch most as they air rather than waiting until the season is finished and Netflix to pick it up. I can usually also binge watch old seasons until I am caught up. Here are some of my favorites on Hulu right now.

A Second Serving Please!
In the last year, Netflix has impressed us by bringing new and remastered anime and live-action shows from Japan. Among the socially-realistic Aggretsuko and the disappointing Death Note movie, this live-action adaptation of Kodoku no Gourmet is sure to give you a mouth-watering story you would want seconds of. Translated as Samurai Gourmet, it tells the retired life of a man who rediscovers the joys of life and observes the many ways he could change his attitude towards others by thinking of what a lone samurai would do. It is a heart-warming series that would make you want to try Japanese cuisine for yourself.

'The Boys' Casting News (Amazon 2019). Top Story - September 2018.
A few months ago I wrote about my excitement for the news that production was gearing up to start on Amazon's TV adaptation of Garth Ennis's The Boys. Some of the early casting had been announced, but here I'm going to run through the main character cast list for the recently wrapped Season 1 and look at how the casting matches up against the graphic novels characters.

Scarlet Witch and Loki TV Shows
It has been announced that Loki and Scarlet Witch, joined by a few other characters, will be getting their own shows on Disney's new streaming service. I think it'll be interesting to see the direction they take the characters. There has always been a desire amongst fans for more Loki content and Wanda is a really interesting character in the comics. It'll definitely be a big hit for the new streaming service. If they keep it up, many people will see it as more than just a Netflix rip-off.
