A Filmmaker's Review: "The Haunting of Bly Manor" (2020)
Yes, I watched the entire series in one night, with a shot of gin and a glass of vodka. Here's the review... I was not really that impressed at all. Though, I thought it was clever to some degree and there were some moments of greatness. First of all, we have a ‘frame narrative’ (go and check out ‘A Filmmaker’s Guide to Frame Narrative’ for more information) and then, it moves back in time to a different aspect of Bly Manor. By around six minutes in, the frame narrative finishes, which I found a bit shoddily done and short. You’re never really told why it’s there at all and the only reason seems to be for it to have some sort of hold on the original material (“The Turn of the Screw” by Henry James).

Black Clover: Season One
Black Clover Season 1 Anime Review Never giving up on your dreams, is the premise of Black Clover's empowering story. The series follows Asta and Yuno, two underdog heroes on a heartfelt journey to becoming, The Wizard King. Although flawed, the first season of the Black Clover anime lays a solid groundwork of introducing us to the Clover Kingdom. This season of the series proves to have potential in being a great anime.

Quiz Time: How Many Of These 1980s Children's TV Programmes Do You Remember?
Let's take a walk down memory lane, to the care free days when we would rush home from school, grab a bag of crisps, pour a lemonade, get comfy on the settee and watch our favourite TV programmes. Those were the days.. We all had a favourite TV programme right?! From He-man to Inspector Gadget to the Muppets Babies! Not forgetting She-Ra, and of course I have to mention ThunderCats! In my opinion the children's shows of the 80s were the best, unbeatable! We really were so lucky! They really are just not the same these days! Okay, most of them are pretty easy to remember, but how about these ones? Lets see how many you can remember…

UNDERRATED: Carnivale
Carnivale is a show that takes me in its old, gnarled hands and shakes me down to my core. It always has, and it always will, no matter how many times I watch it. Carnivale did great things, but it could’ve done much more if it had been allowed to continue, if it had gotten the ratings it needed for HBO to let it live.
