Life after Supernatural
As we said goodbye to 2020, we also said goodbye to Sam and Dean. Brothers who had each other's back for life. The show gave us so many emotional rides from laughter, to tears, to anger, to hate, to love. But in the end, the story was always the same, they were family forever and ever.

Quintessential Black TV - 12 TV Shows That Defined My Childhood. Top Story - February 2021.
It's February, the shortest and coldest month of the year and also coincidentally, Black History Month! I grew up in the Caribbean and not the US so we didn't really observe Black History Month. Black History in my country encompasses and informs most parts of our cultural experiences (food, religion, festivals etc.) so I imagine the powers that be decided an entire month would be redundant. As an adult currently living in Canada, I've come to appreciate February as an important opportunity for learning, celebration and discovery of the significant contributions of the black population to the history and cultural vitality of the country.

The Best Animated Series You Haven't Watched
Back in 1999, the late and largely un-lamented UPN network premiered a new animated series titled Home Movies. It was a quirky, family comedy centered on young Brendan Small. Brendan made movies on his camcorder (remember, this was 1999) with his two friends, oddball Jason and voice of reason Melissa. He lived with his single mom and his baby sister and got ill-advised life lessons from his lazy and ill-tempered soccer coach, McGuirk. Early episodes were done in the Squigglevision format made popular by Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist. The show was sweet and funny, yet had some bite due to the improv nature of the scripts. another Dr. Katz influence.

Most Popular TV Shows
As a kid, I would wake up on Saturday mornings just hoping that my favorite show was going to be on Disney Channel or Nickelodeon. With the modern luxuries of Hulu, Netflix, Showtime, and many others, it doesn’t matter what time our favorite show is playing because we can watch anything we want at any time. For just a moment let’s take it back to the day when we scheduled our week around the times that our favorite shows were playing on tv. What are those shows? Let’s admit it, every channel has some shows that are big hits and others that make you decide to go find a book to read instead. Today we are going to tell you what the most popular tv show on every channel is.

Cartoons and Sarcastic Humor
As far as television shows go, the modern shows don't interest me nearly as much as the classic cartoons and sitcom re-runs of my childhood. Saturday mornings, sick days, and even stretches of summer break were spent enjoying cartoons such as Looney Tunes, Dexter's Laboratory, Ed Edd n' Eddy, The Powerpuff Girls, Avatar the Last Airbender, and Dragon Ball Z (to name just a few), as well as shows such as 90s Roseanne, Home Improvement, Full House, Everybody Loves Raymond, and M*A*S*H. These are the kinds of shows from my childhood that I could still watch over and over again if given the chance to either binge-watch or have on for background noise.

The Last Binge Bender
It is quite difficult to find quality shows that I really enjoy, so anytime I find one, I kind of get a little too obsessed. I am very critical about what I watch, and these days I do not like to consume my limited spare time with mediocre or typical content. Regardless of the series, because of my educational background in film, I tend to lean toward more witty, unpredictable, and satirical filled content. I also love work that contains several relative messages that shift my thinking or perspective in a positive way. The acting also has to be dynamic and convincing to intrigue me. With that being said, let's take a look at one of the animated series I am a little too obsessed with.

JAILHOUSE BLUES
Modern TV shows have proved to be partial toward yardbirds of the American justice system. A good majority of series blatantly portray the grave injustices suffered by federal or community offenders who get railroaded, either by their own making or by emerging winners in the wrong place, wrong time lotto. Some even being set-up and infringed upon by the so-called "Justice System."

When Trash Becomes Everyone’s Treasure
My older sister is responsible for exposing me to a lot of things as a young boy. Many musical artists that I listened to as a prepubescent were first introduced to me by my sister. Another thing my sister introduced me to was reality TV. My younger self prided himself on hating things just because other people (namely people didn’t care for me) liked. Jersey Shore, the first reality TV show I’ve watched, was no different. Now, just because some people loved watching this show didn’t mean it didn’t have its problems. Quite the contrary, this show was one of the most controversial of all time.

Murder, She Wrote
Binge-worthy obsessions are my go to for any show that I watch. Normally I can finish an entire season in one sitting on a rainy Saturday afternoon. This is perfect for my schedule because I don’t have a lot of free time to enjoy these things normally. Then came covid quarantine! My husband and I have probably watched more tv shows of all genres and styles throughout the quarantine just to keep our sanity. But what do you watch when you feel like you have watched it all?
