If Schitt's Creek, Then Ted Lasso
We can all agree 2020 was the year the cinematic world hit its metaphorical ‘pause’ button: shows were indefinitely put on ice, movies pushed back (I’m talking the ENTIRE Marvel Universe), and movie theatres shutting down across the globe. However, this figurative fall of cinema helped give rise to the continued success of Netflix, Disney+, Hulu & HBO Max. With billions of people in quarantine, these streaming platforms helped sooth the boredom, or distract the crazy kids now home 24/7, with readily available shows to binge at every hour of the day.

Who should have won Rupaul's Drag Race Season 12
Rupaul's Drag Race, a sacred competition to the LGBTQ+ community. I am a huge fan of this competition and have watched every season. And I am assuming if you are reading this, you are also a fan of Drag Race. Now, I would like to begin by saying season 12 had some of the most talented Queens! All of them did fantastic with the hard challenges that were thrown their way. Each of them had very unique and different personalities and styles which is crucial to this competition.

Insightful cartoons for grown-ups
A Cartoon To Heal A Broken Heart It's 2014 and I had just been dumped. It was a beautiful August afternoon, but to me it felt like some endless night filled with nightmares and tears. I thought he was the love of my life, my ride and die, the "other" pea in my pod.

Scandalously Scintillating Alternative to Pride and Prejudice
** Spoiler Alert ** This contains light spoilers ** Twenty-one years ago, my Nan introduced me to the world of Jane Austen. Elizabeth Bennet's wit immediately captivated my attention, and I wanted to be like her. I still have the copy of the Penguin Classics Pride and Prejudice that she gave me, and it is well-loved.

6 Documentaries That Will Change the Way You Think
1. Children of Shame (2014) ‘Children of Shame’ is a fairly short film which succinctly documents the Tuam scandal in Ireland, in which it was discovered that a mass grave of 800 infants were discovered on the site of an old nunnery. With Ireland’s political foundations being irrevocably intertwined with the Catholic Church, this film, with testimony from the institution’s victims, voices a tragic assessment of the trauma brought to Ireland by this discovery. However, most important is the ability of this said national trauma to question the practices of the Church in the 20th Century.
