Adam saves the lives of Nick and Faith on 'The Young and the Restless'
Many of those who enjoy The Young and the Restless have been sharing on social media that they are tired of all the drama with Adam Newman. Every time you turn around he is dominating the scenes whether he is in them or not. During the past year, Adam has been stalked by Phyllis, covered up a Vegas murder, shot by Alyssa, framed by Chelsea for trying to poison Rey, changed his last name to Wilson to defy Victor, and made enemies of Rey and Nick.

If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree
Before I get started, this is not to hate on anyone especially those with learning disabilities or anything like that. This is article with purely be a critique about writing characters that are incredibly one dimensional. I understand that the "stupid" character is a main staple especially when it comes to sitcoms. But I genuinely believe everyone is smart in their own way, hence why I titled this article the popular Albert Einstein quote. He once wrote, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”. But in sitcoms we only ever see the stupid characters stay stupid or worse get stupider as the show progresses. Here are some examples of both characters who are stupid for the sake of being stupid and those few and far in between that broke that trend. Then worst of all of course, unfortunately those who got dumber.

What Anime Has Taught Me #1
Firstly, I would like to address the elephant in the room. The fact that many day 1 anime lovers (often referred to as weebs) were thought weird because of our respect for the art form that is anime. But over the last few years anime is now all over the place.

Invincible Season One Finale changes everything!
After the end of Invincible Episode 7 we knew nothing would ever be the same again. Mark would never go back to being that innocent kid who just had to worry about school while his dad saved the planet and taught him how to be a better hero.

"I Really Wanted To Be Wrong:" Broadchurch and How Character Development Can Be Paid off With One Line of Dialogue
The first season of the critically acclaimed TV drama Broadchurch involves the death of an 11-year old boy in a small, tight-knit British community. During the season's run, characters are developed, secrets are revealed, and decisions are made that affect the tranquility and trustworthiness of the town and its citizens. Trying to keep this tenseness to a minimum are DIs Alec Hardy and Ellie Miller, two police officers who are assigned to find the murderer of the boy, Danny Latimer. At the end of the season, after many tense moments that tear the town apart, destroy the lives of primary characters, and deteriorate the feeling of safety in the town, Alec finally finds the killer; Joe Miller, Ellie's husband. After Joe is put under custody and arrested, Alec and Ellie go over the circumstances of the case. Ellie asks Alec to say that this isn’t happening, realizing that she has to live with the burden of her husband killing a young boy and somehow not realizing that the killer was right in front of her all along. DI Miller simply tells her, “I really wanted to be wrong.” At face value, this is simply a sentimental line that shows just how much their friendship has developed. However, if you dig deeper into this one line of dialogue, you will realize that the line means so much more and isn’t just meant as a throwaway sentimental line to make the audience feel happy that Ellie and Alec are friends now.

10 Times the show Greys Anatomy shed some light on important topics.
1. Mental health – in season 16, Jo, a woman who was abandoned by her mom when she was five days old, had a very rough childhood living in her car as a teen and then was in an abusive relationship which she got out of, had left to find her mom. Once she discovered her mom, her mom revealed that she was raped by her dad and got pregnant, and her mom wanted nothing to do with her because she looked too much like her dad. This made Jo, understandably, spiral into depression, not going to work, just staying in bed; it was the straw that broke the camel's back. Eventually, with the help of her husband and friends, she checked herself into a mental health institute and took steps to get better.
